Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Reincarnated

"Boom."

Like a comet, it came from the blue sky that dominated the kingdom and crashed into the ground.

It was so vast that it had pierced through countless clouds.

The sun was high.

Violently yet silently, the wind blew, but the nearby birds were pushed away.

The land shook for only a second due to the impact, yet the ground surface on which it had landed remained untouched.

Not a single piece of debris was missing. Remarkably, a flower sprouted.

The noise it produced grabbed the attention of many living beings.

Yet that wasn't a comet. Being of pure white and shining, only one thing could have such an aspect.

[The light of reincarnation]

It held power over the cycle of life and dropped a figure no taller than a three month old banana tree

With his stance stable, Roso straightened himself while his eyes were still closed.

Instinctively when his eyes slowly opened, his gaze was first cast on his hands. It later shifted to the ground before it scanned his body from toes to as far as he could see.

He remained still.

His attention drifted too long on something that should have taken him just a few seconds.

Later on his sense returned, and that was when something stirred.

"Who am I?" He tried to figure, out but all the images that flashed through his mind were blurred more like a playable video with encrypted images. The information was there, but the code needed to view it wasn't.

Yet Roso breathed steadily as his mind tried to hack the barrier that stopped his brain from processing.

"Ugh." strained he shouted, his finger had slid on his left temple. The area between the eyes and the ear.

Perplexed, he thought, What was that? Just what was going on? As if he wanted to verify something, Roso clenched his hand, then released it.

He turned his neck slowly, then shifted his weight as he shook his legs.

Now one thing was sure. He knew he was human just like any other being would know it's race.

Yet a thought still lingered, He needed to know what he was.

Roso breathed in and the warm air with residual life energy filled his inner body as he stretched it.

The breeze passed over him "What refreshing air." He whispered before he finally came to the realisation of his surroundings.

His blinked in astonishment "What a view."

Struck by a sudden thought, he paused. He suddenly recalled something, "Oh! Now that I remember, wasn't I dumped by something."

Urged, Roso tried to understand why. And thought, If I did fall from heaven… But a ridiculous idea popped up.

Doesn't that mean I am some kind of God? He mused.

Meanwhile, thousands of miles away inside a particular room of a modern, luxurious castle.

"Ouf." A man surnamed Bitter Weapon breathed out in relief, after all his workload had diminished significantly. Then he turned around.

His eyes widened and he suddenly froze, "That radiance…" he murmured seated on his office chair.

Bitter Weapon's memories stirred. No it cannot be. Why now of all time?

His eyes shifted from the pen that had fallen on the floor to his trembling hand placed on the table. What was I even afraid of? He thought.

Then his breath steadied.

"Just in case." Bitter Weapon muttered as he quickly rose up and walked out of the room stride faster than his thoughts betrayed.

His forehead tightened. And only one thought guided him, he needed to take actions.

His hand grabbed onto the shoulder of his servant that stood at the entrance.

His servant's gaze turned toward him. "Sir." He muttered.

A verbal command wasn't necessary. Bitter Weapon's gaze transmitted the message.

"As you ordered sir." With a bow, he responded, his jaw tightened before they went their separate ways.

Still in the castle but somewhere else, toward one of the numerous corridors that linked to a certain room. Two men were on a stroll covered by the brightness reflected through the windows

Both men were skinny yet fitted with no muscles so far

One figure's brows twisted in irritation as he said "A meeting at this hour of the day, for real." It was the one with a long robe that nearly touched his shoes.

His acolyte chuckled quietly. "Just voice it. If the majority supports you, it's a deal." He suggested

He felt relieved and his eye brightened. But on a second thought, Uhmn… his eyes dropped. Bothered, the long robed man murmured "And if not."

"That's just it." Came the answer, clean and clear. "That's what I will do." He added With a serious gaze

The long robed man was filled with anticipation and as soon as the words 'Let's do it.' Escaped from his lips, a voice startled them. "What are you still doing here."

They froze and their gaze turned towards a tall man with green round eyes called Lot.

Then the long robed thought, ah! Not him.

"Hurry up." As Lot commanded, they moved rapidly.

"Ah!" Lot's head shook. They haven't even realised the gravity of the situation we are in, he thought.

His eyes trembled filled with anxiety. "That light was an ominous sign and it should never have appeared. "
