Chapter 4 - Section 4

Chapter 4

During their conversation, many students returned to their classrooms under the teacher's urging.

White Night was no exception.

However, the one thing White Night didn't expect was this.

One person who was originally sitting next to him was driven away by Sakura, and the other was driven away by Ino.

One, the top student Sakura, and the other, the young lady of the Yamanaka clan, Ino, sat on either side of him.

This scene truly made many people in the class incredibly envious.

"When can I be like White Night?"

Naruto's gaze towards White Night had turned into tangible envy and jealousy.

"Why am I stuck with the idiot Sasuke?"

Naruto looked at Sasuke, who had a poker face next to him, and then at the vibrant, beautiful girls next to White Night.

Who could understand the feeling of being hit by such a contrast?

The key was that Sasuke wasn't even as handsome as White Night.

"Don't bother me!"

Sasuke, sitting next to Naruto, said with displeasure after Naruto suddenly went crazy.

Because he always felt that Naruto's expression when looking at him was implying something.

"Tch, what's there to be arrogant about, smelly Sasuke? White Night isn't as aloof as you!"

Naruto's single sentence almost made Sasuke lose his composure.

Sometimes lies don't hurt, the truth is the sharpest knife.

Although Sasuke believed he didn't care about appearance, he couldn't stand being compared.

Sasuke looked at White Night, sandwiched between Sakura and Ino, and a strange emotional fluctuation suddenly surfaced in his heart.

"Tch, what's so great about being handsome? We are Ninja, and strength is the standard for judging whether a Ninja is qualified!"

Thinking of this, Sasuke finally puffed out his chest.

As the top student in the entire Ninja Academy, Sasuke believed he had the right to say that.

"Sure enough, I still can't get along with this guy, Sasuke!"

Naruto was so angry with Sasuke that he wanted to bang on the table.

Although Naruto envied White Night's popularity in class, when it came to strength,

Naruto wouldn't allow Sasuke to question his difficult brother-in-arms.

"Interesting."

White Night also heard Naruto and Sasuke's conversation.

Before, he disdained to show his talent at school, making Naruto think he was a dead last like him.

"I hope the upcoming events don't shatter Naruto's self-esteem."

White Night had a decent relationship with Naruto.

After all, before awakening the system, most of the class deliberately distanced themselves from Naruto because of his 'fox demon' identity.

But he knew the plot well, so he naturally understood that the so-called fox demon was just a lie concocted by the Third Hokage.

So White Night treated Naruto no differently than he treated ordinary people.

Even so, in Naruto's eyes, he was already one of his few friends.

"Ahem, class, quiet down."

"Today, I have something to announce!"

Just then, Iruka pushed the door open and walked in.

Because of today's occasion, he had even dressed up specially, making himself look more energetic.

As Iruka came to the podium, many below were already looking forward to it.

"Today is a very important practical training exam for our class, and I hope everyone can approach it with 100% spirit!"

Iruka looked at his students below with a serious expression.

Because he understood that this practical training exam would directly affect the upcoming team assignments.

This was very important.

The Hokage's notice he received was that several elite Jonin team leaders would be present.

They would secretly observe the students' practical combat situations.

As their teacher, Iruka truly hoped that all of them would have a good future.

Then Iruka looked at White Night, who was sandwiched between Sakura and Ino below.

He didn't know why, but whenever he saw White Night, Iruka always felt a sense of pity.

Such a humble, sunny child, yet his Ninjutsu scores were a C.

White Night also noticed Iruka's gaze towards him.

However, White Night met his gaze calmly.

Seeing this, Iruka felt even more regretful.

In his opinion, White Night had the potential to be a Hokage.

Whether it was his usual way of dealing with people or his sunny personality, this feeling always reminded Iruka of someone.

A yellow-haired, sunny and enthusiastic Fourth Hokage, just like White Night!

"Alright, now I will lead everyone to the practical training ground."

As soon as Iruka finished speaking, the entire class was already in an uproar.

"Wow, it's a practical exam! I didn't expect what Iruka-sensei said yesterday to be true!"

"What should I do? I'm completely unprepared!"

The ordinary students sitting behind Naruto and Sasuke immediately started discussing.

"What's there to prepare for? The first place will definitely be Sasuke again!"

As others discussed, they undeniably looked at Sasuke.

Because in previous practical exams, Sasuke had always been in first place.

"What? Is it impossible for our White Night?"

The other girls in the class immediately became unhappy upon hearing this.

So they all supported White Night.

"White Night?"

Everyone in the class suddenly remembered that in all previous practical exams,

White Night and Sasuke had no combat records, right?

Thinking of this, they were a bit uncertain.

Because White Night always forfeited every practical training, even when Iruka-sensei repeatedly emphasized it.

It could be said that they truly knew nothing about White Night.

"That's still unlikely, after all, how long has Sasuke held the first place?"

In the end, they still believed Sasuke would take first place.

Chapter Six: White Night VS Uchiha Sasuke,

The entire classroom was in a frenzy of discussion, but White Night had no interest.

With Wood Release at max level, did he still need to be excited coming to a beginner's village like this?

But Sakura and Ino beside White Night didn't think so.

"White Night, be careful during the practical training later, don't get hurt!"

Sakura's words were full of concern.

"What? Sakura, do you think White Night isn't a match for others?"

But Ino found a flaw in Sakura's words.

"No, no, I mean..."

Sakura instantly panicked; that wasn't what she meant.

Then Sakura angrily looked at the smug Ino beside her.

"I'm just worried about White Night!"

The two always argued over White Night.

White Night didn't stop them.

In a way, he had to thank Ino and Sakura.

If it weren't for the two of them, wouldn't you believe there would be even more girls surrounding White Night?

Of course, this scene didn't last too long.

Soon, everyone was led by Iruka-sensei to the outdoor practical training ground.

Their grouped appearance instantly attracted attention from around.

Rock Lee, Tenten, and Hyuga Neji were also watching from a distance.

"What's happening over there?"

The cheerful and lively Tenten was instantly drawn to the activity there.

"It looks like the graduating class is having a practical exam!"

Rock Lee understood the general situation after a glance.

To Rock Lee's surprise, White Night, whom he had met at the equipment store today, was also there.

"Practical training!!!"

Hearing 'practical training,' Tenten's eyes began to sparkle.

"Let's go take a look!"

Tenten said excitedly.

"Okay, besides, Neji wants to find an opponent of equal strength, right? There might be one there!"

Rock Lee's original intention was White Night, but Neji misunderstood Rock Lee's meaning.

"Uchiha Sasuke, huh? That's not a bad choice!"

Neji's expression didn't change much; although he wasn't as poker-faced as Sasuke, he also spoke very little.

Soon, the arena was set up.

It was just an area marked out for combat.

"Students, I will now randomly select your opponents!"

After seeing that everything was ready, Iruka began to select opponents for each of them.

"First up, White Night versus... Uchiha Sasuke?"

Iruka himself hadn't expected to draw these two.

But it made sense; it seemed they had never been drawn together in previous lotteries.

"Ah!!!"

However, Iruka didn't expect the lottery result to cause such an uproar among the crowd.
