"Ladies and gentlemen, the next contestant to take the stage is the double Champion of the Kanto Indigo Plateau Conference and the Johto Silver Conference—Mr. Ash!
This competition is also Mr. Ash's debut in a Pokémon Contest. Let's enjoy the performance of this strongest rookie Trainer!" The Host had practically revealed all of Ash's background.
