She woke up after that, lost and out of her mind. For a brief moment she could not tell where she was. It did not help that she was surrounded by that man's scent. Now his voice. She looked up at the source and found he was right in the space with her.
Lenette's felt even more lost than she already was. She looked around the room and noticed she was no longer in her old home's hosting hall, but at the Valerius estate. That bummed her out but did calm her down.
He was talking to her about something, but she too busy was trying to collect herself, so she answered him mindlessly.
"I am here on business." He had said, which piqued her interest.
