"This feeling... it has been far too long."
Sukuna exhaled deeply, spreading his four arms as he laughed toward the sky.
After a thousand years, the former King of Curses, the most powerful Jujutsu Sorcerer in history, had finally returned to the human world.
A terrifying aura surged outward, thick with overwhelming malice and suffocating cursed energy.
Even Kenjaku found himself praising the sight before him.
Two faces, four arms, and a grotesque mouth embedded in his abdomen. His vision covered all angles, his chants never ceased, and his body moved with perfect coordination, two hands fighting while the other two formed seals.
"This body... truly magnificent."
Kenjaku could not hide his admiration as he brought out two special cursed tools.
Futsunushi. Hiten.
Futsunushi was hollow, shaped like a twisted dumbbell, resembling a coiled figure eight. Hiten took the form of a hybrid between a ritual staff and a trident.
Sukuna accepted both weapons, a sense of familiarity stirring within him. The instinct for battle surged through his veins, making him restless.
A thousand years ago, he stood in the same stance, wielding these very tools.
With them, he annihilated the Sun, Moon, and Stars Squad, as well as the Five Void Generals under the Fujiwara Hokke Clan. He also repelled the elite Nieqi Pacification Squad of the Abe Family, including Angel, along with the remnants of the Sugawara Family.
"No need to rush."
Seeing Sukuna's growing impatience, Kenjaku spoke calmly.
"You felt it yourself in your last battle. Shion is troublesome. And the others are not weak either, correct?"
Though reluctant, Sukuna gave a slight nod.
"Gojo Shion is strong. His younger brother and that companion of his are also rare talents."
"Then..."
Kenjaku raised a finger.
"Even you, facing all five Special Grades at once, would find it taxing."
Sukuna's gaze turned cold.
"Are you questioning my strength?"
An immense pressure crashed down like a tidal wave. Kenjaku's expression shifted as he quickly reinforced himself with cursed energy, yet he still stumbled backward.
"You misunderstand."
Kenjaku steadied himself, forcing a smile.
"Would it not be irritating if they interfered with your final battle against Gojo Shion?"
Sukuna withdrew his aura.
"Oh? You have something in mind?"
Kenjaku wiped the sweat from his forehead.
"Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru may not surpass him, but they are still absolute monsters."
"Yuki Tsukumo is less troublesome for me, but she remains a Special Grade capable of destroying a nation."
"And Yuta Okkotsu... I underestimated him. You must have noticed it as well, his cursed energy reserves are absurd."
He paused, his tone growing more unhinged.
"To deal with them, we must go beyond conventional methods. Even beyond my control."
Kenjaku's smile widened.
"If this era is already overflowing with chaos, then let it spiral even further."
Sukuna's lips curled slightly, a rare hint of approval appearing on his face.
"Interesting. Then I will indulge you."
...
"What? The Zenin Family has fallen?"
Kamo Takanobu's voice trembled between shock and excitement.
His younger brother, Kamo Hiroki, nodded eagerly.
"Yes. Reports say that aside from Zenin Naobito, Zenin Maki, and Zenin Mai, everyone else was killed by Zenin Maki."
"The Kukuru Unit and the Hei have been completely wiped out. The Zenin Family is nothing more than an empty shell now."
Takanobu sank into his chair, the magnitude of the news overwhelming him.
"This... this is... fate favoring the Kamo Family."
With the Gojo Family in seclusion and the Zenin Family destroyed, countless high-ranking positions within the Jujutsu world had suddenly become vacant.
Jujutsu High, the Higher-Ups, the Intelligence Division, the Mission Bureau, along with vast financial influence.
"Wait. Who destroyed them? Zenin Maki?"
"Yes."
Hiroki handed over a report.
"Zenin Maki was ostracized since childhood due to her Heavenly Restriction, just like Toji Fushiguro."
"And history repeated itself. Her restriction fully awakened, and she slaughtered half the Zenin Family."
Takanobu's expression twitched before he let out a cold laugh.
"The Zenin Family truly invited their own destruction. They gambled that a second Toji would never appear."
"A thousand years of legacy, erased by a single woman. No... by their own arrogance."
He stood abruptly, ambition burning in his eyes.
"This works perfectly."
"The Gojo Family may have withdrawn, but their influence still demands respect."
"But the Zenin Family? With barely anyone left, they cannot uphold their status."
"It is time for the balance of the Three Great Families to change."
Hiroki frowned.
"But Zenin Maki possesses enough strength to destroy half a clan..."
"You worry too much."
Takanobu waved it off.
"She may carry the Zenin name, but her actions prove she has severed all ties, just like Toji Fushiguro."
"Besides, status is not determined by strength alone. Lineage, numbers, and influence all matter."
"The current Zenin Family lacks all of that."
"I understand."
Takanobu suddenly shifted topics.
"What about the Artificial Cursed Technique experiment?"
"For years, the Gojo Family has dominated attention because of the Six Eyes."
"If we can display Blood Manipulation on a broader scale, factions will flock to us."
Hiroki immediately summoned Kamo Asaoka.
Asaoka entered with an exaggerated bow, his face plastered with a flattering smile.
Takanobu concealed his disgust and spoke calmly.
"The task I assigned you. Is it complete?"
"Of course."
Asaoka stepped aside, gesturing toward a young boy of about seven.
"This is Young Master Hiko, the most promising candidate."
Takanobu motioned him forward.
Hiko stepped up, focusing as cursed energy surged through his body. Crimson patterns spread across his arms.
"Blood Manipulation, Red Scale Leap."
Takanobu's eyes lit up.
"It truly is Blood Manipulation. What was your original technique?"
Hiko answered honestly.
"My original technique was Empty Shadow. I could teleport ten meters every ten seconds."
"A useful ability. But you may abandon it. Blood Manipulation is far superior."
"Yes, Family Head."
"How long can you sustain it?"
"About three minutes."
"More than enough."
Takanobu turned to Asaoka, clearly pleased.
"You have done well."
Asaoka bowed deeply, nearly trembling with gratitude.
"It is my duty to serve the family."
Takanobu laughed.
"Excellent. The data has been compiled?"
"Yes. It has already been submitted to the Cursed Technique Research Institute."
Takanobu stepped forward and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Good work. The Kamo Family will remember your contribution."
"You may leave."
