Chapter 96 - 96: Satoru got Sealed?

This was truly unbelievable.

Yuki Tsukumo stared at Gojo Shion in disbelief. Geto Suguru, Yuta Okkotsu, and Toji Fushiguro stood frozen beside her. Kenjaku's dual Domains combined with Shion's astonishing control over his own Domain had completely overturned everything they thought they knew about Cursed Techniques. Even Yuki, one of the few Special Grade Sorcerers with deep expertise, had never seen anything like it.

At that moment, Satoru, playful and unable to contain his excitement, clung to Shion's leg.

"Brother, teach me!" he cried.

Shion's face darkened. "Let go."

"No way, not until you show me how you turned your Domain into that glass‑like sphere!"

"Geto, help me pull him off," Shion said.

"...Shion, I want to learn too!" Geto quickly joined in.

"Yuta!"

"Coming, coming!" Yuta rushed over and peeled Satoru off Shion's leg.

Toji stepped forward and offered his hand to Satoru, expression unreadable.

Satoru blinked. "What?"

"Toji's Inverted Spear of Heaven, give it back once you're done."

Satoru tilted his head, feigning confusion. "?"

Toji's eye twitched. "Don't play dumb with me. That thing cost me yen!"

Satoru dropped down on the ground, arms and legs flailing as he pretended to be clueless.

"I really don't know, don't know, shiralala~…"

Toji gritted his teeth, almost smiling. "Fine, so you're just holding a grudge because I stabbed you with the Inverted Spear of Heaven back then? At least let me stab you back!"

With that, Satoru leapt up like a carp out of water and tried to plunge the Inverted Spear of Heaven into Toji's backside.

Toji spun around, disarmed him smoothly with a precise grip, and reclaimed the spear.

"Where exactly do you think you're trying to stab?" Toji asked.

Satoru just giggled and sidestepped, calmly walking away.

Toji stood there with a faint black line of disbelief on his face as he removed the now‑spent talisman from the spear. The Soul‑Snatching Talisman was a one‑time special Cursed Tool designed to harm the soul itself. Its unique effect was powerful enough that even Mahito couldn't heal from it, which is why it didn't kill him but instead took down Hanami — still a noteworthy accomplishment.

Yuki rubbed her neck, wincing. "Hey, Shion, so what do we do next?"

Shion shrugged lightly. "We recover. Then we prepare for the decisive battle against Kenjaku and Sukuna."

"Huh?"

Yuki blinked. "We're really going with Kenjaku's idea to face him in Shinjuku in ten days? Aren't you afraid they'll cheat?"

Shion smirked. "Of course they'll cheat. But it's not like we can't cheat too."

He stepped forward, gathered the fragments of the Prison Realm, and began piecing them back together.

"What, are you planning to reseal Kenjaku with the Prison Realm?"

"How would that even work? Kenjaku made it. He must still have a way to control it."

Shion toyed with the Prison Realm fragments, a relaxed smile on his face.

"It's fascinating, really. Right, Satoru?"

Satoru nodded enthusiastically.

"Inside that thing, space behaves strangely. Boundaries blur, time shifts, and reality barely feels real. Half a day passed outside, but in there, it felt like weeks."

Shion's expression became thoughtful.

"And while I was in there, I… think I gained some insight."

Satoru grinned, clearly trying to feel smarter by proxy.

Shion looked around the group with a serious expression.

"But there's something important I'll need everyone's help with."

"You're the only people here right now. I, Gojo Shion, have been badly injured in that fight with Sukuna. My life is hanging by a thread."

"Gojo Satoru was sealed within the Prison Realm by Kenjaku, and his location is unknown!"

"Get it?"

"…Eh??" Yuki and Yuta both looked confused.

Toji chuckled. "That's a dirty trick."

Geto rolled his eyes. "Shion, who are you trying to fool this time?"

"It's not a trick," Shion shot back. "Those old higher‑ups have been hiding secrets forever. I'm just encouraging them to show themselves!"

Yuki frowned, then grinned.

"Shion, you really are sneaky."

She'd long been aware of how corrupt the Jujutsu Higher‑Ups could be. But with Shion and Satoru supposedly sidelined, the old guard would have no excuse to stay hidden anymore. They'd surely rush to intervene and expose themselves.

"Is he… trying to expose the entire Jujutsu hierarchy all at once?" Yuki asked, stunned for a moment before smiling.

Toji shrugged. He wanted to see some of those elders gone, especially the Zen'in elders.

Yuta hesitated. "Senpai, isn't that a bit much?"

Shion's face turned stern.

"I'll tell Rika that you've fallen for another girl at school."

"Eh? No! I'll listen! I'll listen!"

Yuki shook her head with amusement.

"Little brother Yuta is smitten!"

Geto frowned. "Shion, I don't think this is appropriate!"

Shion looked genuinely surprised.

"Oh? You want in on this too?"

Geto crossed his arms and nodded.

"If you need help, my cursed spirits can act as reconnaissance."
