"Huh? You want to be a Jujutsu Sorcerer?"
Shion Gojo had just stepped out of the Tomb Chamber when Satoru's slightly annoyed voice reached them.
"Please," Satoru continued with a hint of disbelief, "you have cursed energy but no cursed technique. Wanting to become a Jujutsu Sorcerer right now is just a dream."
Amanai Riko stood firm, eyes bright with determination. "Then I'll use cursed energy to strengthen my body and train in martial arts!"
Satoru blinked, visibly baffled. "You're seriously stubborn."
Shion watched Riko with genuine interest. Having cursed energy but no innate technique wasn't unheard of — characters like Yuji Itadori and Kokichi Muta Kusakabe relied on physical strength without a defining cursed technique — but Riko was different. She was a Star Plasma Vessel, a rare being chosen for her compatibility with Master Tengen.
Shion thought for a moment, then stepped forward. "If you want to become a Jujutsu Sorcerer, I know someone who'd be perfect to teach you."
He paused to let the weight of that sink in, then continued, "But you need to think carefully. Becoming a sorcerer means giving up a normal life, and you'll be fighting cursed spirits every day."
Riko nodded without hesitation. Through everything she'd endured, she now understood how powerless it felt to lack strength. If she remained ordinary, it wouldn't matter much — but she was a Star Plasma Vessel, and that meant she could be hunted again in the future.
She glanced toward Satoru, her gaze thoughtful. There was something about the idea of becoming a sorcerer that intrigued her.
"All right then," Masamichi Yaga said with authority, "Principal Yaga will take care of Riko's enrollment!"
He turned to Riko's steadfast friend, Misato Kuroi. "By the way, Miri, since she's family to Riko but has no cursed energy, she can work in the school's administrative office."
Misato's eyes lit up. "Thank you so much, Shion! You're truly a good person!"
Yaga gave a weary smile. "I'm just destined to work hard for my students."
Geto Suguru's expression shifted to concern as he asked, "By the way, what did Lord Tengen say about all this?"
Shion and Satoru both knew this needed to be explained carefully. Shion had caused chaos recently, and Satoru's Purple attack had disrupted many elders. Hollow Technique: Purple ranked among the most destructive techniques in existence.
Shion scratched his head. "Tengen and I talked. It was calm. She said she won't pursue the issue anymore. Besides, they found another way to delay evolution without needing the Star Plasma Vessel."
"What about the Higher‑Ups?" Geto asked, brow furrowed.
"Well," Shion said with a shrug, "after the show we put on, they're probably willing to compromise. If they aren't, I'll just talk to them."
Geto's eyes twitched, clearly skeptical of Shion's choice of words.
Shion laughed, teasing, "Hey Geto, what's that look? Am I really that misunderstood in your heart?"
Geto turned away with a sigh. "Shion, a bit of self‑awareness wouldn't hurt."
Satoru joined in with a grin. "Yeah brother, with your personality, you'd probably dump on Tengen's head instead."
Shion gave a playful, exaggerated glare. "You two think mastering Reverse Cursed Technique suddenly makes you better than me?"
"Well…" Satoru lowered his sunglasses, revealing his bright eyes, "I'll admit it. Now that I've mastered it, I'm pretty confident, maybe even slightly arrogant about it."
Geto smiled knowingly and produced yūun, the cursed tool.
Shion laughed. "Looking at you two, you're definitely itching for a beating!"
"Cursed Technique Reversal: Red," Satoru said, activating the repulsive version of his Limitless technique.
"Cursed Technique Reversal: Red," Shion echoed with his own technique.
"Cursed Technique Reversal: Bestowal," Geto added, transforming energy into an army of spirits.
Boom!
Masamichi Yaga quickly pulled Misato and Riko out of the combat zone just in time.
Watching the small dust clouds rise behind them, Yaga's face was darker than soot.
"These three brats!"
Inside the Tomb Chamber, Tengen, who had just drifted into sleep, was jolted awake.
"An earthquake?"
As Shion had predicted, the Higher‑Ups chose to compromise. Really, they were terrified. Satoru's Purple attack had carved a trench kilometers long right under their feet. They knew they faced power beyond ordinary sorcerers.
Moreover, the battle outside had shown that Shion, Satoru, and Geto were forces of nature. Three sorcerers of that level in an alliance was terrifying beyond belief.
Strictly speaking, Shion had not personally caused mass destruction. The non‑sorcerers killed earlier had belonged to the extremist Star Plasma Cult — zealots whose lives the elders barely cared about in the first place.
The injured elders also didn't remind anyone of their embarrassing defeat at the hands of three first‑year sorcerers. They were too wounded and too ashamed to speak of it.
One thing was certain: the Zen'in Family had to swallow the loss of Keisuke's death and move on.

Later, in the cafeteria, Shion sat eating his homemade sweet tomato scrambled eggs while Geto enjoyed buckwheat noodles. Satoru was already devouring a mountain of hagiki, seemingly ready to challenge a sugar mountain.
Amanai Riko and Misato watched from the side, dumbfounded by Satoru's intake.
Masamichi Yaga slammed three documents on the table.
"The three of you have been promoted to Special Grade."
Special Grade wasn't just recognition of strength. It was a message of compromise from the elders: accept this or risk even greater disaster.
"Oh~" Shion and Geto murmured, while Satoru kept shoving food in his mouth.
Yaga's fists tightened. "This is Special Grade! Take it seriously!"
"Um… what is Special Grade?" Riko asked innocently.
Yaga explained, "Special Grade is the highest rank for a Jujutsu Sorcerer. It's for those whose strength far exceeds even Grade‑1 sorcerers, with techniques capable of large‑scale destruction."
"Of course, if someone has extremely rare and useful abilities, they can also be ranked Special Grade."
"So far, including the three of you, only four Special Grade Sorcerers exist in the Jujutsu world."
Riko's eyes went wide.
She knew they were strong, but she hadn't realized this strong.
It was like watching a neighbor suddenly become the richest person in the world overnight.
