Chapter 125 - — Akira vs. Stripped Delta (Part 2)

— Destruction Beam.

"Whoosh!"

A violet beam shot from Delta's eyes, racing straight toward Akira.

Akira's expression didn't change in the slightest.

It was true that Divine Illumination could not affect targets beyond fifteen meters.

But once something entered that range—even if he targeted only a tiny portion of it—the entire object would be affected.

As long as the total volume didn't exceed one hundred cubic meters.

Unfortunately for Delta…

Her beam was far too small to escape a single glance.

— Divine Illumination.

CRACK.

With just one look, the entire continuous beam disintegrated into scattered violet particles.

Honestly, even if it hit me, it wouldn't matter.

I could just rewind it with Utsumotoryu.

Koji Kashin's gaze darkened.

"So that's the real mechanism behind that technique…"

"This can't be real!"

"I refuse to believe it!"

Delta staggered from the shock but immediately tried to hype herself up.

"That was just because I didn't use a feint!"

"If I land it—if I hit him—I can definitely kill him!"

BOOM!

Flames burst from her feet as she rocketed into the air, directly above Akira.

Her legs suddenly extended into long, dark spikes.

They thickened as they descended, branching like enormous tree vines that engulfed the sky above Akira.

BOOM!

Akira vanished with a Body Flicker.

The massive spikes slammed into the ground like two towering trees.

CRACK.

Missing him didn't bother Delta at all.

She simply snapped her legs off at the base.

New legs regenerated instantly.

Two fresh spikes plunged down again.

Snap. Regrow.

Snap. Regrow.

Snap. Regrow.

The rhythm repeated like a ticking metronome.

The descending spikes rapidly turned the battlefield into a forest of blades.

Within seconds, the two "trees" multiplied into an entire jungle.

Watching Akira dodge between the forest like a flickering afterimage—

with the gaps between movements growing smaller—

Delta finally saw a glimpse of victory.

"Bzz—!"

Purple light began glowing in her eyes again.

Once Akira was completely trapped with nowhere left to evade—

her Destruction Beam would finish him.

Akira might despise his opponent strategically…

but tactically, he never underestimated anyone.

So this is Amado's scientific weaponry.

Compared to him, Katasuke Tōno—the original inventor of ninja tools—was too conventional.

Creative, yes… but he wasted effort on many useless things.

Amado, on the other hand, turned them into pure killing machines.

Truly a mad genius.

Akira glanced at the purple glow flickering through the jungle.

A slight smile appeared on his lips.

"Alright."

"I suppose I should get a little serious."

His right eye focused sharply.

— Toyoke Kebi no Mikoto

SHING!

A massive Perfect Susanoo blade suddenly materialized fifteen meters above the battlefield.

It spun like a turbine at terrifying speed.

SHING!

The spinning blade sliced through the forest of spikes.

Not merely cutting them—

but grinding them into dust the moment they touched the blade.

Obito stared in disbelief.

"Madara, did you see that?!"

"That sword was created with Toyoke Kebi no Mikoto, right?!"

"But instead of flying forward like his previous attacks…"

"It's just hovering there and spinning at insane speed!"

Madara replied calmly,

"Is that really surprising?"

Obito blinked.

"What do you mean?"

Madara continued,

"When he deployed weapons behind enemies before—"

"Did you ever wonder how they automatically attacked?"

"Because they were preprogrammed movements."

"You assumed they could only travel in straight lines."

"That was your mistake."

"The technique itself was always flexible."

Obito sighed.

"…Alright, alright."

"No need to lecture me."

Between them, Koji Kashin couldn't see or hear either man.

He remained immersed in his own thoughts.

That weapon…

Is that another one of his eye techniques?

It's almost comparable to Isshiki's Daikokuten.

Maybe not as unpredictable…

But it has its own advantages.

Uchiha Akira…

Terrifying.

In the sky, Delta was panicking.

"Damn it!"

"I can't see him!"

"That stupid spinning sword is blocking my vision!"

"Stop spinning already!"

"Get out of my sight!"

Finally—

after ten full seconds—

the sword lost its control.

It stopped spinning and crashed into the ruins below.

CLANG.

"Haha!"

"It stopped!"

"It finally stopped!"

Delta searched wildly for Akira through the jagged wreckage.

But—

Akira was gone.

"Where did he go?!"

"Where the hell is he?!"

"You looking for me?"

A cold voice whispered behind her.

"WHAT?!"

Delta turned—

just in time to meet Akira's Susanoo second-stage fist, wrapped in bone and muscle.

BOOM!

Delta crashed into a ruined building.

The entire left side of her chest was blown away.

Blood, oil, and mechanical fluid gushed from the bowl-sized hole.

"AAAAAAHHHH!"

She fired her stored Destruction Beam in panic.

CRACK.

Akira erased it instantly with another glance.

Then appeared behind her again.

"So your legs can regenerate, right?"

Akira grabbed one of her legs and lifted it casually.

He leaned forward and examined her closely.

"Interesting."

"You've got quite a full set down here."

His right eye focused on the place Obito loved most.

— Toyoke Kebi no Mikoto

SHUNK! SHUNK! SHUNK! SHUNK!

Four Six Paths black rods appeared in succession.

They drove straight inside, leaving only the tip of the final rod sticking out.

"AAAAAAAAGH—!"

Pain and humiliation twisted Delta's face into something grotesque.

Tears slid helplessly down her cheeks.

Akira lifted her leg and began walking forward.

Delta's hands pressed against the ground as she was forced to crawl along.

Like a human wheelbarrow.

Akira pushed slowly.

Looking at the empty slot in her back, he smiled faintly.

"I've already located the core of your regenerative leg with my Sharingan."

"And destroyed it with those rods."

"Your Destruction Beam doesn't work either."

"So tell me."

"What other tricks do you have left?"

"I'LL KILL YOU!"

"I'LL KILL YOU, UCHIHA Akira!!"

Suddenly—

Delta stopped crawling.

Her body began swelling like an inflating balloon.

Koji Kashin stared at her back.

"So it's come to self-destruction…"

"That seems to be the only ending."

"Fortunately…"

"She already released her true body when she was knocked out of the air."

Above them, a small drone hovered.

Delta's true core.

Koji nodded.

"A wise decision."

"In that case… I should withdraw."

Akira also stepped back immediately.

BOOOOOOM!

Delta's bloated body exploded into a massive wave of fire.

Just before the flames could spread—

Akira glanced at them.

— Divine Illumination

The explosion was erased before it could fully manifest.

Koji flicked his cloak and prepared to leave.

But then—

he froze.

Akira stood at the edge of the small crater left by the aborted explosion.

In his hand—

was Delta's torn-off chest piece.

His right eye began glowing again.

"What is he doing now…?"

— Utsumotoryu

WHOOSH!

Using the chest fragment as a medium—

a black ripple spread through the air.

The scattered dust of Delta's destroyed body began gathering again.

Piece by piece—

her entire body reassembled.

Even worse—

the drone that had already escaped…

was forcibly dragged back and reinserted into the slot on her back.

Koji Kashin stared in horror.

"…What… was that?"

For the first time in his life—

the unknown made him sweat.

But the most horrified person of all—

was Delta herself.

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO MY BODY?!"

"I JUST BLEW MYSELF UP!"

"WHY THE HELL AM I BACK HERE AGAIN?!"
