The lava giant strode forward, each step shaking the earth. Its massive stone arms spread wide.
"Boom!"
Locked on by Momoshiki's golden Byakugan at the giant's core, it unleashed blazing lava fireballs at the Complete Susanoo streaking through the sky at high speed.
Akira's mithril-colored Complete Susanoo matched Madara's in scale. Beneath its silver wings grew an additional pair of arms, each hand gripping a massive blade.
"Boom!"
As the wings beat, winds comparable to a Super Shinra Tensei erupted, and the wing-arms swung their swords in dazzling arcs!
"RUMBLE—!"
Gales, blade currents, and lava spheres collided in a cataclysmic exchange far surpassing even multiplied explosive tags!
Momoshiki's lava giant was called Ape Rock.
It could only be used in his post-devouring transformation state.
Its initial version already surpassed Naruto at full Kurama and Sasuke's Complete Susanoo individually—but it was still far inferior to their combined Majestic Attire: Kurama, which Madara once called a beastly calamity.
Now, empowered beyond his former self, Momoshiki's Ape Rock had evolved to near Majestic Susanoo-level might!
The difference wasn't just its nearly doubled size. To put it crudely, the initial Ape Rock was a fire-attribute warrior. The upgraded version was a true battle mage.
Terrifying in close, mid, and long range.
An absolute menace.
A direct clash? Not easy.
"Time to raise the stakes."
Akira's Susanoo shot straight upward a hundred meters. In its right hand, a Shatterlance condensed and was hurled downward at the Ape Rock emerging above the blast zone.
"That silver spear… the same move that blasted apart my High Sovereign Black Orb!"
Momoshiki didn't dare slack. Ape Rock opened its furnace-like maw and fired a blinding lava beam into the heavens!
"BOOOOOOM—!"
Light pollution flooded the sky.
Even behind Susanoo's protection, Akira could feel the air scorch his lungs.
He smiled. "Strong as hell~."
Shattered rock fragments blasted toward the mountainside. Obito activated Susanoo to shield Boruto behind him.
"Akira's finally met a real wall."
Madara stood with arms folded, firelight reflecting in his eyes.
"Ape Rock has grown stronger than when we fought in Kaguya's dimension, but it's still within bounds. In a 'mecha duel' like this, True Several Thousand Hands remains king. Pity Akira hasn't mastered Hashirama's Sage Mode. Otherwise, there'd be no suspense."
("Mecha duel" here essentially means a Gundam-level clash.)
"But if Akira let this escalate to such a scale, he must have his own trump card."
When the light storm dissipated, Susanoo flipped its wings and dove toward Ape Rock from above.
Madara's eyes gleamed.
"Oh? Is it finally here? Show me. I've waited long enough."
"You've lost your mind!" Momoshiki roared.
Ape Rock raised both arms high, maw wide open—
"BOOM BOOM BOOM!"
Lava spheres and beams erupted skyward!
Yet Akira ignored it all.
He let Susanoo's armor shatter under the bombardment.
Let molten blasts punch a cavernous hole through its chest.
Let the searing core energy destabilize the entire construct.
Didn't matter.
As long as Susanoo carried him within fifty meters above Ape Rock.
Mission accomplished.
Fifty meters. Reached.
"Zzz—!"
Akira's right eye condensed to its absolute limit. The six tomoe shrank into tiny black dots upon the Rinnegan's ripples.
Toyokumiki.
Its storage capacity depended on the scale of the technique.
Different techniques, different limits.
Rasengan? Black rods? Tens of thousands possible.
Standard Susanoo fists and blades? Five hundred in Mangekyō era—one thousand with the Rinnegan.
Higher-tier constructs like Susanoo avatars? Limit: one hundred.
Now came the main event.
"The next technique… can only be stored in the low double digits."
"And gathering even that takes considerable time."
"Feel it."
—Toyokumiki: Descending Arhat!
"BOOM!"
A colossal wooden statue descended flat, blotting out the intersecting fire barrage and crushing downward onto Ape Rock!
"!?"
Momoshiki never imagined Akira's eye could spit out a Wood Golem!
Ape Rock raised its stone arms and caught the descending titan—
"BOOM!"
A second wooden statue slammed down vertically!
Ape Rock buckled to its knees!
"BOOM!"
The third struck.
Both stone arms shattered.
The lava giant collapsed face-first under the crushing weight.
"That should keep you down."
Akira dismissed the ruined Susanoo and severed gravity causality with Danmetsu Shanti, hovering a hundred meters above.
"RUMBLE—!"
Suddenly, the wooden statues trembled violently.
Ape Rock was rising again!
"Using Takamimusubi to forcibly control the Wood Golem? No choice… I'll dedicate the rest to you."
—Toyokumiki: Descent of Ten Arhats!
"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"
The fourth through tenth descended in rapid succession—
Completely burying Ape Rock deep beneath the ruined earth!
"Zzz!"
Akira fueled Wetbone Grove Sage Mode for the seventh time.
"Next—fifty Shatterlances in succession. Should make a spectacular bonfire."
"SHING SHING SHING!"
Fifty identical silver spears rained into the stacked Wood Golem formation!
The Shatterlance's terror wasn't just speed or penetration—
It was the aftermath.
The explosion.
And the blade-like fragmentation storm unleashed after detonation!
"BOOOOOOM—!"
"RAAAARGH—!"
Momoshiki's roar drowned beneath carpet bombardment.
Thousands of silver shards erupted from the inferno, tearing across the land like rabid fangs.
Akira hovered before the withered Divine Tree.
He reactivated Complete Susanoo to shield it from the shrapnel storm—
And froze its time with Yamototsu, sealing it within the Tobiru temporal zone.
"Shh."
Ten seconds later, the tree vanished into icy mist.
Only the earth—and Momoshiki's wounded world—remained.
...
Momoshiki, barely alive, was lifted by Akira's single hand.
Frost symbolizing temporal stasis crept across his body.
Momoshiki laughed heartily.
"Hahaha! You win, Akira! Even among the Takamagahara Ten Gods, your strength would rank in the top five!"
Akira asked calmly,
"Momoshiki. Where does Isshiki rank among your Ten Gods?"
"Oh?"
Momoshiki looked surprised.
"So you even know of him? Fine. As a reward for defeating me, I'll tell you."
"Otsutsuki Isshiki. Mediocre divine aptitude—but he lived the longest, and reaped time's dividends."
"At his prime, he ranked third among the Ten Gods. Second only to Shinjiki."
"Second only? What about Ryūshiki? Isn't he your leader?"
"Heh!"
Momoshiki sneered, then spoke solemnly.
"Ryūshiki-sama exists on another plane entirely. Comparing Isshiki to Him is an insult."
Isshiki—third.
One above him: Shinjiki.
But neither approached the true terror—
Ryūshiki.
Akira now understood the hierarchy of the Ten Gods.
"Thank you. Rest well, Little Momo."
"Hmph. Hearing that from you sounds far better than from that bastard Urashiki."
Frost sealed Momoshiki's faint smile.
With rising mist, he vanished from Akira's grasp.
"Whoosh—!"
At that moment—
A black vortex unfurled into a circular portal edged in dark violet light.
"Oh? They're here."
Akira glanced back.
Naruto and Sasuke emerged first.
Then the Five Kage followed through the gate.
The scarred terrain bore silent testimony to the battle's devastation.
"What kind of fight… reshapes land like this…"
After a long stunned silence, they turned toward the lone figure standing amidst the ruins.
"Uchiha Akira… what exactly are you—?"
