"I'll take the first move!" Pandora said.
He slapped down a monster.
"I Normal Summon Magician's Robe—Lijinn in Attack Position!"
A clown-doll-like monster appeared.

"Then I activate Graceful Charity! I draw three cards, then discard two!"
With a smug grin, Pandora deliberately tossed Dark Magician into the Graveyard.
Perfect, he thought. Now I just revive it and win from there.
"I set one card. End my turn!" (Hand: 4)
"—My turn—"
Kisaragi reached to draw… when—
BOOM!
The duel arena doors were kicked open.
Kaiba stormed in first, followed by Mokuba, Téa, and Grandpa Mutou.
"You're here," Kisaragi said, smiling like she'd been expecting it.
Pandora's eyes widened.
"How?! This solid-vision system is built by Ghouls. It isn't connected to KaibaCorp at all—how did you find this place?!"
Kaiba snorted. "Hmph. Kisaragi's Duel Disk is custom-built by me. As long as she's wearing it, I can locate her."
Kisaragi's face instantly darkened.
"…Don't tell me you installed a tracker in my Duel Disk so you can monitor my location in real time," she said, voice low.
"Of course I did." Kaiba answered without the slightest shame. "I don't want anything to happen to you."
Kisaragi's cheeks flushed a vivid red.
Behind Kaiba, Mokuba, Téa, and Grandpa Mutou were all quietly grinning like gossip addicts who just got fed.
"Only Kaiba could say something like that with a straight face…"
"And Kisaragi's actually getting embarrassed…"
"Heh…"
Kisaragi coughed, trying to recover.
"…Fine. You put it in—so you put it in. But don't interfere with this duel."
Kaiba nodded, eyes fixed on the field. In his mind, as long as she was safe, he wouldn't step in—because he knew Kisaragi wouldn't lose to anyone.
"Continue the duel," he said.
Kisaragi drew.
"My turn—draw!"
Then she revealed a spell.
"I activate Reasoning! You declare any Level from 1 to 12. Then I excavate cards from the top of my Deck until I reveal a monster I can Normal Summon. If the revealed monster's Level matches the declared Level, all excavated cards are sent to the Graveyard. If it doesn't match, that monster is Special Summoned—and the rest go to the Graveyard."
Téa blinked. "Isn't she just… dumping her Deck into the Graveyard for free?"
Grandpa Mutou frowned, equally baffled. "I've watched a lot of duelists, but I've never seen anyone voluntarily mill their own Deck like this…"
"Pandora. Declare," Kisaragi said calmly.
Pandora chuckled. "Heh heh heh. I don't know what you're trying to do, but if you want to destroy your own Deck, I won't stop you. I declare—Level 4!"
Kaiba narrowed his eyes. "He picked the most common Level on purpose. He's trying to maximize the chance her excavated cards all go to the Graveyard."
Kisaragi didn't react. She began excavating.
"First card—Spell: Witchcrafter Holiday. Sent to the Graveyard."
"Second card—Spell: Witchcrafter Creation. Also sent to the Graveyard."
Only on the third card did she hit a monster.
"Third card—Witchcrafter Genni. Level 3."
She looked straight at Pandora.
"It doesn't match your declared Level, so I Special Summon it!"
A small witch covered in paint splatters appeared.

Pandora's lips curled.
"Hahaha! I've been waiting for that moment—flip! I activate Dark Magician Resurrection Coffin!"
Kaiba's expression changed. "What?!"
Pandora explained with theatrical precision:
"When you Summon or Special Summon a monster: target that monster and one Spellcaster monster I control—send them both to the Graveyard. Then I can Special Summon one DARK Spellcaster from my Deck or Graveyard!"
He pointed dramatically.
"I send my Magicianized Lijinn and your Witchcrafter Genni to the Graveyard—then I Special Summon… DARK MAGICIAN!"
A dark-red coffin erupted on Pandora's field. It swallowed both monsters, slammed shut—then burst open again.
A sinister-looking Dark Magician in red attire appeared.

Téa shivered. "That's Yugi's ace… but it feels way more evil."
Grandpa Mutou nodded grimly. "So he's a duelist skilled at using Dark Magician too."
Kisaragi didn't flinch.
"Then I activate Witchcrafter Genni's effect in the Graveyard. I banish it: draw one card, then send one 'Witchcrafter' card from my Deck to the Graveyard."
"I send Witchcrafter Street to the Graveyard."
Then she immediately continued.
"I Normal Summon Witchcrafter Schmietta! And I activate its effect—tribute this card, then send Silent Magician Burst from my hand to the Graveyard. I Special Summon a 'Witchcrafter' monster from my Deck!"
She pulled a card from her Deck.
"Come forth—Witchcrafter Madame Verre!"
A witch in a black bodysuit wrapped in threads and needles appeared.

She didn't stop.
"Now I activate Schmietta's Graveyard effect. I banish it to send one 'Witchcrafter' card from my Deck to the Graveyard."
"I send Witchcrafter Patronus to the Graveyard."
Kisaragi set two cards.
"I set two. End my turn."
Then, at the end of the turn, her graveyard engine "clicked" into place:
"At the End Phase—Witchcrafter Street activates from the Graveyard. Since I control a 'Witchcrafter' monster, I place this card face-up in my Spell/Trap Zone."
"And also—Witchcrafter Holiday and Witchcrafter Creation activate in the Graveyard. Since I control a 'Witchcrafter' monster, at the End Phase I add both back to my hand."

Pandora stared at her board and hand count, the smile on his face tightening.
He'd revived Dark Magician exactly as planned…
