"Come forth—Dark Magician Girl!"
A stunningly cute young girl appeared beside Dark Magician.

"And Bond Between Teacher and Student has an additional effect," Dark Yugi continued. "I can Set one of the following from my Deck to my Spell/Trap Zone: Dark Magic Attack, Dark Magic Expanded, Dark Burning Attack, or Dark Burning Magic."
"I choose to Set Dark Burning Magic—and I activate it immediately!"
Kisaragi couldn't help but mutter under her breath, half-amused and half-annoyed:
He's already reached this level? These 'locals' are evolving way too fast…
"Dark Burning Magic increases the ATK of my Dark Magician by the combined original ATK of all Dark Magician Girl on both fields and in both Graveyards!"

"Yugi boosted Dark Magician's ATK to 4500 in an instant?!" Jonouchi gasped.
"If that attack goes through, Kisaragi will take a massive hit," Bakura said grimly.
"Battle! Dark Magician, attack Blue-Eyes White Dragon—Dark Magic!"
"Yugi, the duel's barely started—don't get so fired up!" Kisaragi said as she flipped a card.
"I activate the Quick-Play Spell Azure-Eyes Glare! I can send 1 'Blue-Eyes' monster from my hand or Deck to the Graveyard, then target 1 face-up monster on the field. As long as that monster remains face-up on the field, it cannot declare an attack!"
"I send my second Blue-Eyes White Dragon from the Deck to the Graveyard—so long as your Dark Magician stays on the field, it can't attack!"
"What?!" Dark Yugi's eyes widened.
A blue light flared in Blue-Eyes' gaze. Dark Magician raised his staff—then, under the dragon's oppressive aura, his arm fell.
"Tch… I Set one card. Turn end." (Cards in hand: 2)
"And because my turn ends," Dark Yugi added, "Dark Burning Magic's effect expires—Dark Magician's ATK returns to normal."

"My turn—draw!"
"I activate Pot of Greed and draw two cards!"
"Then I Normal Summon Genesis Dragon Knight!"

"I activate Genesis Dragon Knight's effect: once per turn, I send 1 card from my hand to the Graveyard, target 1 Level 7 or 8 Dragon in my Graveyard, then send Genesis Dragon Knight itself to the Graveyard—Special Summon that targeted monster!"
"What?!" Dark Yugi snapped his head up.
"I send The White Stone of Ancients from my hand to the Graveyard—then I Special Summon the Blue-Eyes White Dragon I just sent there with Azure-Eyes Glare!"
A second Blue-Eyes descended onto Kisaragi's field. Two white dragons now glared at Dark Yugi with open hostility.

So this is what it feels like to face her directly… Dark Yugi thought. Her plays look simple—but the execution is unbelievably smooth. Every step is already setting up the next.
"Battle! Blue-Eyes White Dragon, attack Dark Magician Girl—Burst Stream of Destruction!"
Blue-Eyes unleashed a flood of white light, about to swallow Dark Magician Girl whole—
"Not so fast!" Dark Yugi shouted. "I activate the Trap Card Mirror Force! When you declare an attack, I destroy all Attack Position monsters you control!"
A rainbow barrier flared in front of Dark Magician Girl, blocking the blast—then reflecting the energy straight back.
Both Blue-Eyes were destroyed.
"Kisaragi's two Blue-Eyes got wiped out in one shot!" Jonouchi yelled. "Yugi, that was beautiful!"
"But… Yugi doesn't look happy," Anzu said, uneasy.
"That's because Kisaragi isn't panicking at all," Bakura noted. "It feels like she doesn't care if Blue-Eyes gets destroyed."
"So you had a Trap," Kisaragi said with a light smile. "Fine. I Set two cards. Turn end." (Cards in hand: 1)
"At the end of my turn," she continued, "I activate the effect of The White Stone of Ancients in my Graveyard! During the End Phase of the turn it was sent there, I can Special Summon 1 'Blue-Eyes' monster from my Deck!"
"What?!" the group exclaimed.
"Come forth—my third Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"
Blue-Eyes White Dragon (3000/2500)
"Kisaragi's third Blue-Eyes is finally here," Jonouchi breathed.
"Yeah… I swear she handles Blue-Eyes better than Kaiba does," Honda said.
Dark Yugi's Turn
"My turn—draw!"
The instant Dark Yugi saw the card, his pupils shrank to pinpoints. Kisaragi caught the expression immediately—and her face darkened.
What did he just draw…?
"I activate the Spell Card Destruction Swordsman's Proof! By its effect, I add Buster Blader from my Deck to my hand!"
"Buster Blader… Yugi, don't tell me you're—" Kisaragi started.
"Exactly. I activate Polymerization! I fuse Buster Blader in my hand with Dark Magician on my field!"
"Fusion Summon—appear! Dark Paladin!"
Dark Paladin (2900/2400)
Kisaragi's expression turned openly displeased.
"Kisaragi," Dark Yugi said, voice steady, "I prepared this card specifically for Blue-Eyes White Dragon."
"Dark Paladin gains ATK equal to 500 × the number of Dragon-Type monsters on both fields and in both Graveyards!"
"Right now, between us, there are 7 Dragons total—so Dark Paladin's ATK increases by 3500!"
