Deadpool was currently wearing a referee's shirt that was three sizes too small and blowing a whistle so loud it was making his own ears bleed. He shoved a giant bucket of extra-buttery popcorn toward the camera.
"tum, the time for talking is over! My heart is racing, and I don't even think I have a pulse today!" Deadpool screamed, his voice full of pure hype. "Fifty winners are back in the locker rooms, but two of the biggest names in history are already walking down the tunnel. This isn't just a fight. This is the argument that has ended friendships for decades!"
He slammed a giant "START" button on the desk, and the arena lights turned a deep, pulsing red.
After a long lasting arc of round one now "Saa ikimasho"
The arena for the first match of the Semi-Finals was the Void of Creation. There was no floor, no walls, and no ceiling—just a floating platform of indestructible rock drifting in a sea of stars and nebulae. Only a place like this could survive the power about to be unleashed.
Heimdall was floating on a small, shimmering cloud. "The first match of the Semi-Finals! The man who achieved the power of the Gods, Son Goku! Versus the hero who reached the peak through a simple workout, Saitama!"
The Warming Up
Goku landed on the rock, his orange gi fluttering in the cosmic wind. He was already smiling, his eyes bright with excitement. "I've watched your first match, Saitama. You're strong. I've been waiting for this!"
Saitama was standing a few feet away, looking completely out of place in his yellow jumpsuit and red cape. He blinked his large, round eyes. "Oh. Yeah. You're the guy with the hair. Is there a grocery store nearby? I heard there was a sale today."
Goku didn't wait. He let out a roar, his hair flashing gold as he entered Super Saiyan 2. He vanished in a blur of speed and reappeared in front of Saitama, unleashing a barrage of punches. Each strike sounded like a cannon firing, sending shockwaves through the void.
Saitama didn't move. He took every hit to the face, his head bobbing slightly left and right, but his expression remained bored.
Breaking the Limits
Up in the booth, Deadpool was jumping up and down. "Look at that, tum! Goku is throwing enough power to level a solar system, and Saitama looks like he's waiting for a bus! This is the peak of the mountain right here!"
Goku realized standard power wasn't going to work. He skipped several levels, his aura turning a brilliant, fiery blue. "Super Saiyan Blue!" He charged again, his movements so fast that he seemed to be in ten places at once. He landed a heavy kick to Saitama's ribs that finally sent the bald hero flying across the platform.
Saitama skidded to a halt at the very edge. He looked down at his suit and saw a small tear. "Now I have to fix that," he muttered.
Saitama moved. It wasn't a flash or a blur—he was just there. He swung a standard, casual punch. Goku crossed his arms to block, but the force was so immense that it sent him crashing through three different floating moons in the background.
The Final Exchange
Goku flew back, his clothes tattered. He was breathing hard, but his smile was wider than ever. "You really are amazing! I have to go all out!"
Goku closed his eyes. The blue aura vanished, replaced by a calm, shimmering silver heat. His hair turned silver, and his eyes became piercing. Ultra Instinct.
The two warriors met in the center. Goku was dodging every single one of Saitama's casual swings with impossible grace. He was landing counter-attacks that shook the very foundations of the arena.
Saitama finally stopped. He looked at Goku with a tiny spark of interest in his eyes. "You're pretty good. I guess I should try a little."
Saitama pulled his fist back. The air around him began to scream. "Serious Series... Serious Punch."
Goku fired everything he had left into a massive, silver-and-blue Kamehameha. The beam was wide enough to swallow a planet. Saitama's fist hit the beam and simply tore through it like it was made of paper. The wind from the punch hit Goku, blowing the Ultra Instinct right out of him and sending him sliding across the rock, unconscious.
The shockwave from the punch cleared the entire galaxy of clouds for millions of miles.
"Match One winner... SAITAMA!" Heimdall shouted into the silence.
Up in the booth, Deadpool was holding a small fan to his face. "He did it! The bald wonder moves on! Goku gave it everything, tum, but that fist is just built different!"
