The staff member clearly froze for a moment after hearing Wei Qing's introduction. In times like these, the title "Knight of Beauty" could be considered… mildly sensitive.
"Yes," Wei Qing replied smoothly. "As you can see, my name is Dian Dao. I am indeed a Knight of Beauty who follows the Aeon of Beauty, Idrila."
"And the lady beside you?" the staff member asked again. "Is she also a Knight of Beauty?"
"This is my younger sister," Wei Qing said, gesturing to the girl beside him. "Her name is Xing. I've tried to invite her to uphold Beauty with me, but unfortunately, my sister isn't very willing."

The staff member fell into a brief silence.
As someone who had worked in the Tianbo Division for a long time, he'd seen Knights of Beauty more than once. But this one… the way he spoke and carried himself was quite different from the others he remembered.
At the very least, this man hadn't asked him whether he acknowledged Idrila as the most peerlessly beautiful existence in the universe.

"We've heard the Star Skiff Harbor of Luofu is among the grandest spectacles in the cosmos. We've come to admire it—this masterpiece where industry and art merge perfectly—and to experience its unique beauty."
The explanation was flawless. It fit the behavioral logic of a Knight of Beauty perfectly.
Unfortunately for Liuying, though, wearing that fake hair and those fake eyes meant she'd been collecting stares nonstop. Every gaze made her feel like she had thorns on her back.
The staff member nodded and began writing rapidly in the entry log. "Understood. Estimated length of stay?"
"Anywhere from one month to half a year."
"I see. However, you two should've heard about Luofu's current entry regulations before arriving," the staff member reminded them.
Wei Qing nodded as if enlightened. He'd heard them—that was precisely why he'd come.
Not long ago, Luofu had publicly announced to the entire universe that it would collaborate with Ms. Herta and Ms. Ruan Mei of the Genius Society to jointly research a sealed Stellaron.
For a brief moment, every faction big and small collectively felt baffled.

"I see. In exceptional times, exceptional measures are only appropriate," he said with a polite smile. "Being able to witness the elegance of the Taibu Commission will surely be a different sort of Beauty experience."
The staff member visibly relaxed—he'd clearly been worried this very distinctive Knight of Beauty might take offense.
He quickly contacted the relevant personnel.
Not long after, a familiar, cheerful voice drifted closer.
"Oh? Let me see which two honored guests require me to personally step in—hm?"
A figure walked up with light, springy steps.

Wei Qing's heart gave a small jolt. He hadn't expected this old friend to be the one coming to receive them.
Why was she here? And handling reception work, no less?
Baiheng usually showed up around the Tianbo Division or the Cloud Knights—this kind of "escort-to-vetting" job didn't exactly scream Taibu Commission paperwork.
Looks like Luofu really was taking this operation seriously.
Baiheng's gaze swept over Wei Qing and Liuying, lingering briefly on their unusual hair and eyes before she seemed to come to a decision.
"So it's you two?" she tilted her head, tone lively. "A visiting Knight of Beauty… Mr. Dian Dao, and his younger sister, Miss Xing?"
"I'm Baiheng. I'll be guiding you through the necessary registration procedures for the time being. Your… 'style' is certainly unique."
Wei Qing felt a faint chill in his mind, but his expression stayed steady. "That would be me and my sister. Thank you for your trouble, Miss Baiheng."
Liuying followed suit, nodding obediently and doing her best to play the shy younger sister.
Baiheng grinned and waved. "No trouble at all. Welcoming guests from afar is part of Xianzhou hospitality. Come with me~"
She turned and led the way, steps light, her fox tail swaying casually behind her.
It looked relaxed—almost careless.
But Wei Qing could feel it clearly: behind that easy demeanor, there was a subtle, careful scrutiny.
Until they passed the screening, the two of them were, in effect, being watched.
