Chapter 12 - CHAPTER 12

Jae's POV

"Excuse me, who are you?" I asked.

There was a brown-haired guy standing in front of me who looked like a student.

"Umm, you moved here today, right? I'm your neighbor. Nice to meet you," he said, then ran away from there.

And I was like, what was that? Was he here to welcome us? But whatever. I was about to close the door when the delivery man finally arrived.

When I closed the door and went inside with the food in my hand, Seon's attention finally turned to me. Then to the food in my hands. His eyes shone at the sight of it. He is still a kid, after all. I'll try my best to give everything to Seon.

I had withdrawn money from the card too. I know we have so much money now that even if we don't work, it doesn't matter. But who knows how long that money will last? That's why I have to keep working until I pay off the $500 million debt.

And for that, I'll have to keep being Chan's sex doll. And endure everything, because he's the only one who's helped me until now.

"Hyung, what are you doing, standing there in a daze?" Seon took the takeout from me and went into the kitchen to serve the food onto a plate.

And looking at him, I felt like a proud parent, because he had grown up so much in just a few months, and he seems a lot better now. I hope no more problems follow us.

Seon came out from the kitchen. Now that our house is big, it feels kind of different and new, which is great. Because now there's nothing to worry about.

We both sat down at the dining table and ate. I think because of the view, dinner felt even tastier.

"Hyung, the fried chicken is very delicious and crunchy, right?" he said while eating. I nodded.

After dinner, we fell asleep. Seon got ready, and I did too, to drop him off at school.

When we both got ready, we left the apartment, but when we reached the elevator, I saw the same guy who had come to greet us last night.

But seeing us, he started looking around like he was trying to avoid talking. That's why I didn't say anything to him and just left when the elevator stopped.

I dropped Seon at school, and just then my phone rang. It was an unknown number.

(Jae) "Hello?"

(Chan) "Come to my villa right now."

He hung up after saying that, and my eyes darted around. I left from there then.

When I reached the villa and rang the doorbell, I glanced around after doing it. The villa was very silent, last time, screaming had echoed through the whole place. Just then the door opened, and I saw it was the servant.

He bowed at me, and I did the same. I stepped inside.

"Master is in his study right now. You can go there," he said, pointing with his finger to show me where it was.

I walked slowly toward the study but didn't go in directly. I knocked on the door first and waited for his reply.

"Come in." I stepped inside after hearing him.

When I looked at him, my eyes widened. He was wearing black pants and a black shirt, but all the buttons were open.

His abs and chest were visible as he read a file in his hand. Without closing it, his eyes turned to me. I stood in front of him quietly, looking down.

"What happened yesterday?"

I looked up at him. "I moved to another apartment."

"That's all?"

I didn't know if Kang had told him anything or not, but he didn't call me yesterday, so maybe Kang hadn't said anything.

"Yes, that's all."

He closed the file and threw it on the table, his sharp gaze fixed on me.

"Strip and jump into the pool. Right now."

I stood there, processing for a moment. What did he mean? Did he want me to stand in the pool? And in this cold weather? I looked at him, hoping he'd clarify that I had misunderstood.

But the way he was staring at me told me to do exactly what he had said. I unbuttoned my shirt, slid down my pants, and opened the glass door of the study that led to the pool outside.

It's not that I can't go into a pool in cold weather, but I don't know how to swim, and this one looks deep. That's why I turned to look at him, but as I turned, I found him standing right behind me. Suddenly, he pushed me into the pool.

And when I hit the water, my feet couldn't touch the bottom, and I started drowning. I flailed my arms upward.

"Help me... I don't know how to swim! Please help me!"

"So you don't know how to swim? That's even better. Do you remember if something happened yesterday or not?" I was drowning in the water, and I didn't want to die.

"Yes, I rememb-"

And then I sank. My eyes blurred. I thought I was going to die.

Just then, I saw someone swimming toward me. When he came closer, I saw it was Chan.

Did he really come to save me? He grabbed my hand and pulled me closer. When he pressed his lips against mine to give me oxygen, my vision cleared, and we had come out of the pool.

"Useless piece of shit. You are not allowed to move from here." He pushed me down near the pool on the ground. My underwear was wet, and the cold air touching my body made me shiver.

I was sitting there, and whenever I started drying off, a bodyguard would throw cold water on me, not letting me get dry.

I think these were Chan's orders. And this whole process continued the entire day. I had seen him leave in the afternoon without telling his men to stop, which is why they kept throwing water on me.

At night, he came back, but this time, he returned with a guy, and the two of them sat on the sofa in his study.
