Chapter 58 - Chapter 58.

Upon the dungeon boss's appearance, the female mage identified it as Limard, stating that a victory with only three members was unattainable. The two male companions also acknowledged the challenging nature of the boss, recognizing that defeating it with just two attackers was highly improbable.

As the three confronted the dungeon boss, it forcefully stomped its foot, generating a powerful shockwave that propagated across the ground towards the trio from "The Blades".

The two male adventurers advanced, jointly defending the shockwave with their shields, leveraging their additional class-tank. The female mage sought cover behind them. Following the successful block of the dungeon boss's attack, both males—one wielding a sword and the other a halberd—charged at the boss, attempting to strike it with their weapons. However, the boss adeptly evaded their assaults. Subsequently, the dungeon boss ascended by utilizing its wings, positioning itself beyond the reach of the two male adventurers. From this elevated position, the dungeon boss launched a series of fireballs at the trio.

The three adventurers were subjected to a relentless barrage of fireballs. After several seconds, as the smoke dissipated, the three emerged unharmed. The two male adventurers, acting as tanks, had shielded the female mage. Concurrently, the female mage had cast a defensive spell upon the two males and erected a protective barrier encompassing all three. This coordinated maneuver was executed just in time. The defensive barrier eventually shattered under the impact of the fireballs; however, the two males, leveraging their tank-class attributes and the mage's defensive spell, successfully protected themselves and the female mage.

The female mage cast "Light Javelin," a spell that manifested as a luminous spear. The spear launched directly at the dungeon boss, Limard, striking it and dissipating. The impact inflicted minimal damage but successfully pushed the boss backward. Dislodged from its aerial equilibrium by the light spear, the dungeon boss struggled to regain its flight momentum. Seizing this opportunity, the female mage unleashed a "Hellstorm" spell, assailing the boss with multiple solid ice balls.

Hope surged among the three adventurers as they witnessed the dungeon boss falter. The two male warriors, armed with their sword and halberd, poised themselves, anticipating the creature's collapse. Simultaneously, the female mage began to incant another spell, aiming to deliver the decisive blow that would bring it to the ground. Unbeknownst to them, the dungeon boss initiated its counter-maneuver before her spell could be completed.

It forcefully stomped the ground, generating a shockwave that rapidly propagated towards the trio. Immediately thereafter, the boss unleashed a powerful gust of wind from its wings, effectively hindering the two male adventurers from executing proper defensive blocks. Consequently, they were unable to shield themselves from the shockwave, a swift and coordinated assault by the dungeon boss that incapacitated all three adventurers.

The three adventurers struggled to their feet, reeling from the shockwave. As they regained their composure, the dungeon boss unleashed a potent magical assault: the "Hellbirth Impact." This spell caused innumerable colossal rocks to plummet from the sky, capable of obliterating anything in their path. The adventurers, utilizing a teleportation skill they had reserved, successfully evaded the devastating attack. Observing their proximity to the exit, they resolved to depart the dungeon, acknowledging the significant risk to their lives should they remain.

As they advanced toward the exit, their path was abruptly obstructed by the dungeon boss, which positioned itself to prevent their departure. Now in close proximity to the formidable foe, the two male adventurers deftly evaded its attempts to seize them. They retaliated by striking its hands with a sword and a halberd, only to witness the severed limbs regenerate instantaneously. The dungeon boss then unleashed another shockwave attack, which the two men successfully blocked.

In the dungeon, Pacs and the female support mage from "the Blades" advanced towards the final chamber. Upon reaching what appeared to be a dead end—a room with no discernible further paths—the floor abruptly vanished beneath them. Both Pacs and the female support mage plummeted downwards. During the descent, the female mage's screams of fear echoed through the void for several seconds.

The three adventurers engaged with the dungeon boss overheard their support mage's cries. From the apex of the dungeon's final chamber, Pacs, holding the female support mage, entered the area using his Demonic wings and executed a successful, uninjured landing.

The female support mage swiftly attended to her party, providing both healing and combat enhancements. Concurrently, the two male adventurers and the offensive female mage engaged the dungeon boss, quickly gaining the upper hand. However, the boss soon recovered, unleashing a powerful roar.

Recognizing the inadequacy of their current support, the offensive female mage augmented her magic with supportive spells, effectively doubling their enhanced strength. With this intensified enhancement, they resumed their assault on the dungeon boss, severing its legs and piercing its chest with a sword and halberd.

Shortly thereafter, a sudden weakness began to affect them. The boss's earlier roar had been a debilitating attack, gradually siphoning the strength from "the blades" party members and transferring it to itself, ultimately causing the four adventurers to collapse.
