As Vorgatha and the goblin knights moved through the forest, something unusual caught her eye. Between the thick trees stood a house—well-built, sturdy, and out of place in such a wild stretch of land.
Then she noticed it wasn't alone. Two, three houses stood close together, forming a small clearing that looked almost… lived in.
Thin trails of smoke rose steadily from one of their chimneys, drifting into the still air above the forest.
It gave the place a quiet sense of life. As they drew nearer, Vorgatha could make out faint movement inside—shadows shifting, people speaking to one another in low, ordinary tones.
She slowed her steps and turned her gaze toward one of the windows. Inside, she saw a kitchen. Three figures stood around a fire, busy with their work, cooking something she couldn't quite recognize. The scene felt calm, almost too calm, as if the forest around it didn't exist at all.
The houses stood in the forest, simple and well kept. Vorgatha could now see clearly that this was where Alric and the others were living.
Smoke was coming out of the kitchen chimney. She walked closer and looked through the window. Inside, Belle, Helga, and Vexanna were preparing food for the afternoon.
Their movements were steady and familiar. Vorgatha recognized Helga and Vexanna right away.
Alric and Whitney were not there. They had gone to fetch water again. This time, Alric planned to bring back around eighteen thousand litres for everyone's daily use.
Behind the house, about twenty meters away, Kris, Sion, and Stella were training. The sound of their practice could be heard faintly, but the place still felt calm and settled.
Vorgatha reaches the door and breaks it open, causing Belle to stumble. Helga and Vexanna turn as the door is kicked inward. Vorgatha steps inside and casts a spell that binds Helga and Vexanna.
She drags them outside and looks around for the others.
Tied and unable to move, Helga and Vexanna cannot resist.
At the training ground, Kris, Sion, and Stella hear a dull thud. They stop and look toward the house, then move quickly to check what happened.
Stella reaches the scene and sees Helga and Vexanna tied on the ground. Vorgatha, the Goblin Queen, stands nearby with two goblin knights.
Stella recognizes her and thinks why she is here. There is no women whose getting assaulted here. She does not understand why Helga and Vexanna were captured.
Before she can figure it out, Vorgatha attacks. A beam of light shoots toward Stella. Sion raises a defensive spell and blocks it.
Stella remains still, unaffected. Vorgatha watches in silence, unable to accept that her attack was stopped so easily.
Belle stayed at distance keeping eye on Helga and Vexanna, all she can do is watch she is not an Experience fighter !
Neither she knows anything about combat, but still Belle held the spear Alric had given to her.
She hold the spear firmly and telling herself she can do it, she won't just watch. Belle couldn't mustered the will to make any move.
But she did one thing that is to stay close at 5 metre of distance from Helga and Vexanna.
Holding the spear she remain close to them despite getting, scared of the aura the goblin knights are releasing. Vorgatha uses another spell making rain of acidic liquids, touching the trees and ground forming gases.
It is also blocked by Sion's defensive spell covering them completely from getting in contact with the acidic liquids.
One of the Goblin knight rushed towards Stella, she uses fire attacks but it didn't do anything to the knight.
Stella uses wind magic to push back the knight, but still the knight gets closer and slashes Stella with the sword !
The hit was clean.
Belle is just watching !...
Stella took the hit and nothing happened, it was Sion again she put an defensive spell on Stella's body increases her resistance to any type of harm.
The spell was too strong Stella becomes invincible for some minutes.
The knight keeps attacking her but nothing is affecting. Stella standing completely harmless, Belle looking at Stella feeling relieved she's not getting harmed !
In that moment Belle realised she already survived a deadly experience before.
And this is also same, Alric has given her Armor to be safe she recalls Alric's words.
Then she proceeds to cut the bindings on Helga and Vexanna.
While Vorgatha castes another spell before that Kris shoots an arrow, which pierce through the Goblin knight killing it and passes near by the face of Vorgatha, disrupting her spell caste.
Vorgatha castes the gravity spell making it impossible for Kris, Sion and Stella to move.
One goblin knight remain closing the distance moving forward to kill them while they are under the affect of gravity.
After releasing Helga and Vexanna from the binding, Belle moves to attack Vorgatha with her spear ! She charges at her piercing her torso. Helga knocks the Goblin knight by attacking it's knee joint forcing it to fall on the ground.
Vexanna goes to the kitchen to get her staff, Vorgatha's gravity spell is lifted, Vorgatha caste a spell which burns Belle whole with fire !
Belle is screaming the fire is burning Vexanna rushed with bucket full of water from kitchen and splashes on Belle.
Kris kills the Goblin knight and Sion attacks Vorgatha by burning her down, after some time Vorgatha fall on the ground all burned.
They checked on Belle her body is not burned she is perfectly fine !
Her body healed by the armor the pain disappear as she woke up fine.
Soon after that Vorgatha also healed they noticed her, Sion casted a binding spell on her. Vorgatha gets subdued.
