Back to Alric's story, after killing the Frost giant they leave the Snowy region along with the demon, she tells her name is Vexanna she thanked Alric and others for saving her life, the other three demons have died.
Vexanna says she will pay them back for saving her life, Alric and Stella are navigating the way to Valorstone Cradle a land where the Hero sword is waiting to be lifted, Helga is carrying the demon Vexanna on her back, Helga asks the demon where she would like to go ? They will drop her.
Vexanna says they are already going in the direction she wants to go, they took a spot to rest after travelling for 3km, Vexanna questions where Alric and others are going, they tell about Valorstone.
She immediately mentions that they must be going for the Hero sword, Alric was surprised to know she could tell, Helga says do you know where it is? Can you takes us there. Stella seems not happy about carrying this demon along with them.
They took her along because she wasn't letting Alric go and hold to him as tightly as possible locking herself up with him, so they had to carry her. Now Stella commands the demon to show them the route to the Sword.
The demon didn't resist because she was gratefull for them to save her, she tells them the route. Valorstone Cradle a place that is filled with shrubs, tall grasses and trees.
Vexanna says - since the demon king died nobody cared about the sword anymore!
And the people who used to live around this place left because a demon kingdom was formed nearby 300 meters away from this swords location.
The sword is still there resting on the rock but covered by grasses and shrubs, Alric and Helga clears the grasses and then Alric tries to lift it, Stella, Helga and Vexanna were watching their eyes give a shocking reaction.
The Hero Sword has chosen.....
None, atlast the sword is lifted but it broke
and turned into small pieces falling on the ground like shards, Alric calmly says well guess, there's no one supposed to lift it.
With that they decide to leave and return to home, as they were returning Vexanna says they should stay at her place for today they can leave Tomorrow.
Stella is suspicious of her and denied it Helga says we should stay Alric agreed.
Vexanna leads to a nearby place it was 100meter away from the Sword location, it was a broken mansion, the roofs had hole moonlight can enter the house, the wooden floor makes noise when walk on, the windows had broken glasses.
After witnessing such house Stella questions, Is it really the place where she lives or is she planning to trap them?
So, she can call for others and kill them.
