Hiashi Hyuga nodded at the maid's greeting and walked through the inner courtyard until he reached the back garden.
Without the need to activate Byakugan, he quickly located his target.
A five-year-old boy lay lazily across a thick tree branch, one leg dangling in the air. He had distinct white hair and a black blindfold covering his eyes.
"To what do I owe the pleasure of receiving such an esteemed guest, Hyuga Clan Leader?"
Even without making a sound, the boy sensed his presence.
"How many times have I told you to call me Father, Satoru?"
"Father? Nah." Satoru didn't bother lifting his head. "A disgrace like me doesn't have the right to call you that, remember? I believe those were your exact words on my first birthday."
Hiashi sighed, feeling helpless. As much as he regretted saying those hurtful words, he couldn't really help it at the time.
As the head of the Hyuga clan, how could he give birth to a white-haired son with no Byakugan?
The incident caused an uproar in the clan and all kinds of rumors spread, causing him to nearly lose his mind.
He had even considered visiting every white-haired man in Konoha because he suspected his wife of cheating.

"We already went through this. Can't you let it go?" Hiashi asked for the last time.
"Sure, just give me some money to buy sweets."

Satoru lowered his blindfold and glanced at him with crystal-blue eyes. "What are you doing exactly? Trying to pet me?"
Hiashi suppressed his discomfort from seeing those eyes that almost caused his family to fall apart. Even though they could function like the Byakugan, they were an entirely different kekkei genkai.
He gritted his teeth and increased the chakra output on his palm.
His palm slowly started moving forward, causing Satoru to sigh in annoyance and drop his body to the ground.
Hiashi flickered behind him, but before he could strike again, a voice stopped him.
"I give up!" Satoru raised his hand in mock surrender.
"How could you give up mid-fight?"
"There's no point to this fight, so I see no reason to continue the farce." Satoru shrugged carelessly.
"I'm trying to teach you not to rely too much on your kekkai genkai, or Infinity as you call it," Hiashi said. "Even though your ability prevents things from reaching you, it's not absolute."
Hiashi motioned for him to use Infinity before putting a palm between them.
"Look. If an enemy knows your ability and attacks a single point with overwhelming chakra output, your Infinity will collapse."
Hiashi coated his hand with chakra and tried to force his way through.
Ten seconds passed, but his palm still didn't move, causing him to fall into an awkward silence.
"You were saying…" Satoru smirked before his eyes widened. "Oh my, don't tell me you're trying to high-five me. I'm sorry."
He canceled Infinity and tried to give a high-five, but Hiashi dodged and placed his palm on Satoru's head.
"You're trying to embarrass me, aren't you, brat?" Hiashi fiercely rubbed his hair.
"Hands off, old man." Satoru slipped away and jumped back. "Someone bypassing Infinity? Sure, it's possible. But I just need to focus on the attacking point to stop them."
"And if you were attacked by multiple strong enemies at the same time?"
The question seemed to silence Satoru.
"I'm not trying to prevent you from using your ability, but to prepare you for the worst and prevent that arrogance from causing your fall," Hiashi sighed. "Shinobi battles aren't passionate fights where you trade blows fairly.
Shinobi will study your fighting style and exploit your personality and confidence to use against you.
Giving up easily. Letting your guard down. Overconfidence in your Infinity. Make sure to get rid of these habits, or they will be the cause of your downfall.
If you can't, and still think being a shinobi is a joke, then I advise you to find another occupation."
Hiashi left those words behind and departed, leaving Satoru silent and deep in thought.
"Take this with you."
Satoru caught the small pouch thrown by Hiashi and found it filled with coins.
"Thanks, old man. I'll leave you some leftovers."
Satoru waved his hand cheerily, but his smile instantly vanished the moment Hiashi was out of sight.
"You don't have to tell me the danger of this world. I know it all too well."
Satoru walked toward the wall and focused chakra on his legs before climbing and jumping down to the streets.
"Six Eyes is pretty convenient for controlling chakra," he marveled at the ease of it.
Some passersby glanced at him before looking away, already used to this weirdo.
He ignored them and walked toward the usual sweets shop with hands behind his head.
"It's been five years already."
He still found it hard to believe.
After dying, he thought he would either end up in heaven or hell, but reincarnating in the Naruto world was certainly not something he expected.
Not only that, but he was also a member of the Hyuga clan, though not very well liked for some reason.
Reincarnation with Six Eyes and Infinity seemed like a blessing to anyone who knew their worth. However, the Hyuga certainly wouldn't appreciate someone born without a Byakugan.
"I guess anyone would panic if their kid shared no similar traits with them."

Since they allowed him to see chakra points, the elders mistook it for Byakugan mutation and decided to observe him further instead of branding him as a branch member.
"They're really hoping my eyes are an evolution of the Byakugan, just like the Mangekyo."
Satoru understood their thoughts, but didn't care that they observed him like a test subject.
As long as they let him do as he pleased without interference, he would even tell them about the real evolution of the Byakugan.
