Gerhard closed his status window as the spent status points instantly wove into his Gamer's Body, a violent, blinding surge of power rewriting his physical form.
He felt as though liquid thunder were coursing through his veins, and his mind was clearer and faster than it had ever been. The power he felt now was indescribable, and yet he knew... it might not quite be enough.
But that didn't matter now. Beyond anything else, he felt pity. But not for himself. His armour was broken for the most part.
"Let's dance."
He pushed off the dark ledge, and the stone beneath him instantly atomised into a cloud of fine dust.
With [Flight] engaged, he tore a vacuum through the air as he pumped oceans of Mana into the skill and rocketed straight upward, a blazing streak of gold, blue, and violent green Mana that defied the very laws of the Warp or physics in any way.
The chaos of the battlefield above vanished into a muted hum as Gerhard broke through the lower tiers of the Blackstone Fortress; his sheer, new power acted like a localised, massive beacon.
The [Blank] skill activated again, with terrifying effects. From his body, the Warp almost ceased to exist and turned deathly silent as though he had a bubble of true void around himself. This deadly air snuffed out any form of Chaos and Warp sorcery and alerted everyone of his presence.
A cluster of screaming Pink Horrors caught in his path choked on the sudden absence of the Warp, their flesh unravelling into grey sludge before dissolving, and all that before they could even hit the deck.
Red Corsairs manning heavy bolter emplacements froze, their black-powder charges misfiring and their corrupted armour seizing up as their connection to the Dark Gods was violently severed; their souls were almost crushed entirely, and they began screaming, along with the Warp denizens.
But Gerhard didn't think about any of that. First, Gerhard had to secure his allies. He turned off [Blank] and instead went in the opposite direction. At once, the blue of his Mana gained a golden hue and a green one, telling the tale of Gork and Mork's attention. And above all, it boosted his power further.
With a powerful shockwave that shattered the surrounding gantries, Gerhard landed heavily on the blood-stained platform where Alaya still knelt, her once-golden Vratine armour in ruins.
She looked up with her one remaining open eye, watching as the man she thought dead dropped from the sky like a falling star.
He was like a thunderstorm, swinging around a bright blue sword created from pure Mana as hundreds of thousands of Mana bullets shredded the massive hordes of daemons around.
Gerhard didn't waste a heartbeat. He scooped her up with one arm, his Mana wrapping around her broken frame like a protective cocoon to stabilise her life signs as he started healing her.

"Wait here," he said, his voice deadly calm.
He didn't stop moving.
He pushed forward with new speed, sweeping across the platform, through hordes of enemies, toward the crumpled, golden-armoured form of Lencillus, who lay half-buried beneath a pile of shattered columns and mangled daemon parts. The Custodian's Allarus Terminator armour was cut all over, his Guardian Spear snapped in two, and his vital signs were dangerously low. He had lost a lot of his body in what must have been a very short exchange with Skarbrand.
[Psychic Mana Shield]
A bright and powerful shield appeared around Gerhard and Lencillus as he dropped to one knee. Lencillus's legs were gone, as was his left arm and shoulder, and he was missing parts of his face and brain. It was a miracle that he was still alive.
[Heal]
[Mana Injection: Maximum Yield]
A blinding flash of bright blue light washed over the Custodian, mending his shattered bones and forcing life back into his last remaining failing lung. As his heart jump-started, Lencillus gasped, eyes wide as he looked at Gerhard.
"Gerhard... you're... "Lencillus choked out, coughing up a final clot of dark blood.
"Did you think I'd leave you here? I still have to follow 2Pac's words. And bring some changes. Now, stop moving; I'll get you back together in the future," Gerhard ordered.
Gerhard had to work fast. He quickly took out dozens of parts he had been working on for a long time, attempting to create another golem. Using his highly levelled [Creation], he quickly assembled them to replace the pieces Lencillus lacked, added thrusters to the back, and closed the remaining armour to at least allow him to float.
A short while later, he was done.
"You've done enough. Now watch how it's done. Get your sorry ass and Alaya's to the portal."
As Gerhard stood, the sheer magnitude of his newly distributed stats—now firmly among the legendary tier among the characters in the universe—unleashed a psychic wave that rippled visibly through the Warp. Green lightning spread from him, as though he were a Super Saiyan.
Across the chasm, perched on an uneven spire of obsidian, Kairos Fateweaver watched the anomaly rise from the dead. The twin-headed Greater Daemon's eyes widened in genuine, unadulterated shock, its avian features contorting in disbelief.
"HOW?!" Kairos screeched, his dual voices cracking with sudden, hysterical panic as the foundational laws of his sorcery frayed around Gerhard's feet.
"HE WAS CRUSHED! THE EXILED ONE SWATTED HIM TO DUST! HE SHOULD HAVE DIED, AS I HAVE FORESEEN!!!! NO ONE CAN SURVIVE—"
The Fateweaver's frantic calculations stuttered, his prophetic vision violently short-circuiting as Gerhard's existence tore a massive, unpredictable blind spot straight through the timelines.
"IMPOSSIBLE! THE THREADS—THEY'RE UNRAVELLING!"
Kairos shrieked, flapping his massive, multi-colored wings in a desperate attempt to retreat into a warp-rift. To go back and plan anew, as he always did.
"THE ANOMALY BREACHED THE DESIGN! HE STOLE THE STATS! HE BROKE THE MATH!"
Gerhard pointed at the Greater Daemon.
"I'm coming for you, Kairos. That's my promise."
The air around Gerhard began to fracture; tiny spatial tears snapped open and shut as his emotions- cold and hot at the same time- due to being inside the Warp, bent reality to its breaking point.
.
Skarbrand stormed through the remnants of the Legion of the Damned and onto the platform where the Primarch was waiting. Guilliman felt the structure shudder and flex beneath the Bloodthirster's weight. When Skarbrand's burning eyes locked onto Guilliman's, he was overcome with an unreasoning fury.
The Daemon had come for Guilliman's skull to honour Khorne, and he intended to ensure that his prey did not escape.
In Guilliman's mind, hellish fires erupted on all sides, filled with the mocking faces of his brothers who had succumbed to Chaos. With each step Skarbrand took toward him, Guilliman's anger at Skarbrand and his master intensified.
Meanwhile, the bridge behind him seemed to dissolve into molten slag until only the Primarch and the Bloodthirster remained, trapped together in an arena of raging flames, while he hoped that the rest of his people made it safely to the portal.
Unable to restrain himself, the Primarch bellowed a war cry and leapt to meet Skarbrand's charge. The Emperor's blade clashed against the massive axe Slaughter with a heavy clang, while the other axe, Carnage, whistled dangerously close over the Primarch's head.
Guilliman drove his shoulder guard into his opponent's midriff, then pivoted on his heel and backfisted Skarbrand with the Hand of Dominion.
BAANGG
The impact would have punched straight through a tank hull, and with the armour having been improved by Gerhard, it would have done even more damage, yet the Bloodthirster, the monster that he was, merely staggered back on his heels before launching himself forward again.
Hellforged axes swung in massive haymaker arcs, and Guilliman barely managed to block or dodge each blow.
The Primarch felt his hate and rage intensify, completely overwhelming his strategic sense. That distinct difference would soon make Gerhard superior to him. Not everyone understood just how broken Gamer's Mind was.
Guilliman dimly realised that soon, he would charge at Skarbrand, attacking wildly until he finally severed his head from his shoulders.
With tremendous effort, Roboute suppressed the supernatural rage that threatened to overwhelm his rational mind, which was his greatest weapon.
Gasping from the effort, the Primarch contained the furious flames of his anger within a ring of cold steel inside his mind. While he fought his monstrous foe in reality, he simultaneously waged a second battle within his mind.
Gritting his teeth, he gradually pushed back against his rage, step by step.
With a final scream of mental anguish, Guilliman suppressed all his fury and hatred, locking them away behind impenetrable mental fortifications. As he did this, the fires he perceived around him faded, and the bridge to safety came back into focus.
Beyond it, Sicarius and Saint Celestine urged him to move before it was too late. However, unwilling to let his prey and offering to his master escape, Skarbrand lunged forward wildly, axes raised high.
Before Bloodthirster's axes could descend, the air above the platform tore open with an unnatural shriek. Although nothing about the Warp was natural at this point.
A blazing streak of cyan, gold, and Gork-and-Mork-blessed green Mana plummeted from the sky like an orbital strike. Gerhard hit the platform with a bone-shattering impact that cracked the ground beneath his boots, sliding directly between the rampaging Greater Daemon and the Primarch.
"Going somewhere, Anti-Ferdinand?" Gerhard barked, his eyes burning with Mana.
Before Skarbrand could change direction, Gerhard vanished in a blur, reappearing beside the Bloodthirster's massive, scarred chest.
With [Mana Reinforcement] pushing his newly distributed stats to their absolute limits, he drove the Anathame straight upward, aiming for the Greater Demon's throat.
CLANG!
Skarbrand roared, a sound of pure, unadulterated fury, and swept his massive, brass-knuckled left fist sideways. The backhand hit Gerhard like a meteor.
Gerhard's mana shields shattered, despite their new power after his improvements. The sheer velocity of the blow smashed into his body, sending a wave of pain through his chest, which he tanked quite easily, though.
The Anathame was knocked violently from his grip, spinning off into the darkness below as Gerhard was hurled backwards, tumbling across the bridge until he slammed hard against a structural pillar.
HP: 7,781 -> 3,210 -> 1,140
Skarbrand didn't even pause. Towering over the fallen Gamer, the Exiled One raised Slaughter high above his head to cleave him in two.
Seizing the window of distraction, the Primarch rushed forward, thrusting the Emperor's flaming sword straight into Skarbrand's side. The divine blade bit deep, burning through brass, muscle, and cursed blood with righteous fury.
"RROOOAAAARRRRR!!!!"
Skarbrand roared, half-turning to backhand the Primarch with a devastating swing of Carnage.
Guilliman blocked with the Hand of Dominion, the impact driving him back across the deck as he locked in a brutal test of raw strength against the greatest general of Khorne.
Gerhard pushed himself up from the pillar, wiping the remains of his armour from his body. He was 100% focused, with only one goal.
'Fucking stat monster! Not as powerful? Let's test the math!'
Gerhard thought, a wild, manic grin spreading across his face.
He pulled back his fist, focused entirely on a single microsecond, aligning his breathing, his spatial awareness, and every drop of his amplified mana pool into his right fist. Blue lightning arced wildly around his hand and arm, as he attempted to compress space itself into a terrifying, concentrated point.
Skarbrand, sensing the sudden, sharp spike in Warp and another type of energy, tried to wrench his massive frame around to crush the anomaly, but Guilliman planted his boots, using every ounce of his Primarch weight to lock the Bloodthirster's arm in place.
"Now!"
Gerhard stepped into the punch, his body moving blisteringly fast. He drove his fist forward, aiming straight for the centre of Skarbrand's massive, damaged chest.
For a fraction of a millisecond, contact was made, and absolute silence swallowed the platform.
...
Then... a spark.
Dark, obsidian-red electrical discharges crackled across Gerhard's knuckles as his mana surged 0.000001 seconds after physical impact.
BLACK FLASH-!!!
The spatial distortion expanded outward in a crushing shockwave of pure, black-and-blue explosion. The impact bypassed Skarbrand's supernatural durability entirely, sending a tremor straight through the Greater Daemon's core that cracked his ancient, brass ribs and tore a geyser of boiling, golden-black blood from his throat.
"...."
Skarbrand let out a deafening, unnatural shriek, this time not of anger, but of pure shock, as his massive body was ruptured and launched backwards off the bridge, tumbling head over heels into the bottomless void of the Warp below.
Gerhard lowered his smoking fist, panting heavily as his HP and MP bars flickered. Beside him, Guilliman pulled the Emperor's Sword back, staring at the space where the greatest of Khorne's monsters had just vanished, before turning his gaze toward the Gamer.
"That," Guilliman breathed, his voice a mix of awe and grim relief, "was unexpected."
"Just good math, Roboute," Gerhard cracked his neck, feeling a massive high.
