Chapter 36: Hyacine

Many adventurers who had been struggling at a bottleneck for a long time achieved breakthroughs thanks to the new monsters, and their incomes rose accordingly. Faced with this situation, the Guild's upper management—especially the main god Ouranos, who watched over everything from the Chamber of Prayers—chose to turn a blind eye, even though they had long realized that the Dungeon's abnormalities were likely related to a certain adventurer's rare skill. The accelerated growth of adventurers meant an increase in Orario's overall strength. For a city constantly facing the threat of the Dungeon, this was a good thing. Of course, investigations were still necessary, but they shifted from fanfare to discreet observation.

Aiden naturally knew that his uniqueness would eventually be noticed. After all, the gods weren't fools, and he wasn't naive enough to treat other adventurers as such either. But that didn't matter. As long as he could safely pass through the weakest stage of being a rookie and grow strong enough, he would deal with whatever came his way. Moreover, he had brought "possibility" and "change" to this world. For the gods in the Lower World who craved heroes and yearned to witness brand-new epics, the more people like him, the better. The worst-case scenario would simply be a grand "War Game"—a city-wide battle to snatch him up. Aiden did not fear this.

At this moment, on the 10th Floor of the Dungeon, in the area known as the "Mist Labyrinth."

The four members of the Focalors Familia were surrounded by a large group of monsters.

"Ya! Yaya!"

Dozens of Hilichurls of various shapes and sizes screeched sharply, surging forward from all directions. Hilichurl Fighters brandished burning wooden clubs and charged with their heads lowered; Hilichurl Shooters hid in the back, constantly firing arrows tipped with sparks; but the most troublesome were the Samachurls mixed into the mob. They chanted ancient incantations incomprehensible to mortals, waving crude staffs. Firelight, ice shards, wind blades, and rock fragments wove together into a colorful barrage that howled toward the adventurers.

Yes, there were four people. In addition to Aiden, Robin, and Tifa, the Focalors Familia had welcomed a fourth adventurer member. Distance summoning Tifa had happened a week ago. Aiden's [Intertwined Fate] system, after absorbing a massive amount of Magic Stones, had finally fully recharged. And this time, Aiden had summoned a brand-new companion.

"Gospel!"

Aiden shouted low, and a condensed sound wave cannon blasted precisely toward a Geo Samachurl that was casting a rock buff on its companions, blowing it and two nearby Hilichurls into black smoke.

"Tifa, left flank."

"Understood."

Tifa moved like lightning, agilely dodging an ice spike before delivering a swift whip kick that sent a sneaking Hilichurl Fighter flying through the air to crash against the cavern wall. The metal-plated knuckles of her gloves shimmered with the faint light of [Meteor Plume]. Every punch carried heavy force, beating the Hilichurls back one by one.

"Let it resound!"

Robin's gaze was calm. Standing at the rear of the formation, her pale fingertips swiped gently through the air. A sharp sound wave, like an invisible blade, precisely cut off an Anemo Samachurl's casting, causing the forming wind blade to dissipate into the air.

However, there were simply too many enemies. A Kairagi: Fiery Might roared as it broke through Tifa's defense. Its long blade, burning with raging flames, chopped down toward Aiden, the team's core, with the weight of a thousand pounds. Aiden's eyes narrowed. He immediately pulled back while swinging his longsword upward in an attempt to block.

Clang—!

The loud sound of metal clashing was accompanied by blinding sparks. The strength of the Kairagi: Fiery Might was far beyond the scope of Level 1. The massive impact numbed the web of Aiden's hand, and his body slid back several meters uncontrollably. At the same time, a Cryo Samachurl on the other side seized the opening. An ice spike, condensed over a long period, shot out silently.

Pfft!

Although Aiden tried his best to dodge, the ice spike still cut a deep gash into his left shoulder, exposing the bone. A bone-chilling cold instantly invaded his body, causing his movements to stiffen slightly.

"Aiden!" Robin and Tifa cried out in unison.

Just then, the pink-haired girl in the team who hadn't moved finally took action. She had beautiful pink twin-tails that faded into a soft blue at the tips, and wore a cute red-and-white hat. Her clear eyes held no panic, only gentleness and determination. She was the fourth member of the Focalors Familia—Hyacine.

Hyacine clasped her hands before her chest and began to chant the healing poem unique to her:

"Listen, to the whispers woven at the break of dawn and dusk—"

Her voice wasn't loud, but it carried a wondrous power to soothe the heart, seeming to cut through the noise of the battlefield and resonate directly in her companions' souls.

"Oh spirit, gentle as ever within the rift of memories,"

As the chant progressed, a soft pink glow began to radiate from her, like the first rays of the morning sun.

"Please, once again, for me, for us,"

A cute, mini Pegasus, entirely pink, leaped out from the magic circle in front of her, accompanied by flickering specks of light. It nuzzled Hyacine's cheek affectionately, then flapped its tiny wings, transforming into a stream of light that instantly appeared by Aiden's side.

"Send down the cleansing rain, and hold up that clear sky!"

As the last line of the incantation fell, Hyacine's magic—[We Who Fly Into the Dawn]—fully activated. A soft pink radiance enveloped Aiden like warm spring water. The deep wound wriggled and healed at a visible speed under the light, leaving only a faint red mark in the blink of an eye. Not only that, but a warm status called "Rain Clears to Sun" enveloped everyone. Small scratches on their bodies vanished rapidly, their consumed stamina was replenished, and even their mental fatigue seemed to be washed away.

"This is..."

Aiden felt the power surging back into his body, a trace of surprise flashing in his eyes.

"Not done yet~"

Hyacine revealed a playful smile. The pink Pegasus named "Little Ica," after healing Aiden, did not disappear. Instead, it circled in the air and let out a crisp cry directed at the Samachurls still trying to cast spells.

In an instant, a gale rose. A powerful tornado formed in front of Little Ica, howling as it swept through the monsters' backline. The fragile bodies of the Samachurls couldn't withstand the storm at all; they were instantly sucked in and thrown into the air, their casting rudely interrupted. The tide of battle reversed in that instant.
