That little figure …
Before the thought could fully form in her mind, Adelyn turned her head to look in that direction.
Her brows furrowed slightly, but then gradually eased when she didn't see the same figure there again.
"Miss, is something wrong?"
The man asked politely when he noticed she hadn't followed him. His gaze subtly flicked toward the direction she had been staring at. "That way leads to the private section."
Adelyn turned to look at him, and he continued explaining,
"You can book it, but—" he paused, rubbing his fingers together meaningfully, "it requires a little extra money."
Adelyn raised a brow at the gesture, but then shook her head.
"I don't need it. I'm just here for dinner."
The man studied her briefly but didn't push further. Nodding, he gestured again toward the direction they had been heading.
"Then please, this way."
She gave a small nod, ready to follow.
But before moving, she glanced back again … her gaze lingering for a second longer.
