Chapter 368 - Chapter 378: As Always

Unaware of what was happening with Karma, Faen and the others set out again the next morning.

"Although I really wanted to continue traveling with Darling here, I already promised Zeri I'd go to Zaun for a concert." As they were about to depart, a look of sadness appeared on Seraphine's face. "Ugh... Darling, when you can re-enter the Spirit Realm, don't forget to call for us."

Hearing Seraphine's words, Faen nodded, indicating it was no problem. Seraphine was clearly not satisfied with Faen's calm response. With no one else around, she trotted over to Faen, cupped his face, and kissed him without hesitation.

This process lasted for about a minute or so, right? Clearly, Seraphine was very reluctant to leave now. However, the Spirit Realm and wild magic in the Oovi-Kat region were much wilder than elsewhere, so Faen didn't plan on throwing frequent orgies. After all, Karma and Sona were already on his agenda, not to mention Ahri and the others he hadn't even met yet.

Though it might sound a bit weird, his collector's habit and desire to conquer had already flared up. Pretending to restrain himself now would just be acting like a coward. If his thoughts weren't smooth and unobstructed, everything else was useless.

Beside them, watching the two embrace intimately and even kiss right in front of everyone, Akali—despite being used to her teacher not fitting in with Ionia, and suffering the label of "rebel" herself—was, to be honest, quite conservative when it came to romance... or rather, inexperienced.

Although Akali detested Ionia's cultural atmosphere and historical traditions, growing up here, she was still influenced to some degree. Especially regarding romantic concepts; while Akali never harbored the inexplicable thought of finding a man to entrust her entire life to, that didn't mean she had no understanding of love.

And in Akali's understanding, love was actually not much different from love within Ionia's traditional atmosphere. Precisely because of this, seeing her teacher's lover... she probably was his lover, right? Anyway, in Akali's impression, this pink-haired woman named Seraphine kept calling Faen "Darling," and her teacher never shied away from the title, always responding promptly to Seraphine's interactions.

To Akali, this was tantamount to an admission.

She originally thought she was used to how her teacher's understanding of relationships differed from that of typical Ionians, but now...

Watching the two passionately French kiss, openly sliding their tongues into each other's mouths for a legendary deep kiss... watching a string of silver saliva fall from between their lips as they parted... even Akali couldn't help but look away, secretly sighing that her teacher might be a bit too indulgent with this master's wife in certain aspects...

While Akali was aimlessly letting her thoughts wander, on the other side, watching Faen and Seraphine French kiss, Sona instinctively pursed her lips. The memories of what she experienced last night surfaced in her mind.

More or less guessing Sona's thoughts, Riven beside her shook her head with a rather helpless expression. She actually liked Sona a lot. Or rather, Sona's pure and kind personality—it was only because she was in a place as pedantic as Ionia. If she were anywhere else, being willing to kill to protect the companions around her would absolutely be an incredibly praiseworthy spirit. Let alone in a "law of the jungle" place like Noxus.

If Sona truly didn't want this, Riven wouldn't dwell on it. But the problem was, anyone with eyes could see that it was probably only a matter of time before the current Sona fell completely.

Case in point, while Sona was still keeping her head down and thinking, Faen had already sent Seraphine off. Before setting out, he called out to Sona through the Spirit Realm. Although she knew this voice could only be heard by her—aside from Faen and herself, the only other person who could hear it, Seraphine, had already left—Sona still couldn't help but startle slightly upon hearing Faen's voice.

As soon as she looked up, she saw Faen looking at her, then patting the empty space on the saddle in front of him.

Before this, she had always sat in Faen's embrace.

If it were before, Sona wouldn't have thought much of it. In fact, she would have felt genuine joy, believing her connection with Mr. Faen had deepened and become more intimate. But now...

Looking at the silent Sona, Faen didn't rush her. He simply said peacefully, 'If you find it difficult—'

Faen wasn't in a hurry, because he could clearly feel that while Sona harbored hesitation and uncertainty, she didn't generate any negative thoughts toward him because of it. This strange state undoubtedly stemmed from the inherent weakness in Sona's personality. The shadows of her childhood and the experience of being isolated made Sona—after finally meeting someone like Faen who could talk to her, communicate with her, and understand her—unwilling to lose it all over again, even though she could feel that Faen's private life was clearly different from a normal person's love life.

But even so, Sona was unwilling to lose the last person she could communicate with... Furthermore, besides Faen, there were also girls like Seraphine who also mastered melody magic, and who was a girl just like her.

And aside from these factors...

At least in Sona's view, Faen had never forced her into anything. In fact, quite the opposite: he always handed the choice of every problem over to her.

And, although he hadn't directly "eaten" her, constantly clamping his "blessing" during their previous time together meant that, even if it was just the secreted lubricating fluids, Sona had more or less absorbed a massive amount of Joy Factor through the mucous membranes down below. This faint dependency made Sona feel a wave of panic at the thought of returning to that lonely environment of the past.

Calming down and briefly recalling everything, Sona couldn't help but purse her lips. Then, meeting Faen's gaze, she nodded gently.

Without speaking, she just took a deep breath in her heart. Subsequently, under Riven's somewhat helpless gaze, Sona slowly walked toward Faen and, with his help, sat back in her previous position.

Unsurprisingly, the moment she sat on the saddle, Sona felt something steaming hot poking between her legs, just as always.
