Chapter 358 - Chapter 368: Opportunity for Success

A... a little baby?

Hearing Seraphine's words, Sona's face was filled with shock and disbelief. However, saying she looked shocked and in disbelief was a bit of an exaggeration; in reality, Sona's face didn't show much expression. Her small mouth was simply slightly ajar, her eyes glazed over, looking as if her soul had left her body and her consciousness was no longer present.

Isn't Mr. Faen still unmarried? Why... why is he about to start making a baby?

Although she didn't know exactly what the process of making a baby entailed, Sona still knew it was a crystallization of love that only the two most intimate, deeply in love people could conceive. And from what Sona understood, Mr. Faen currently wasn't married, right?

Her heart was filled with bewilderment and confusion. While Sona was still standing there dazed, Seraphine decisively grabbed her hand and started running, saying, "Since we've all done it with Darling, there's no need to be shy! Go, go, go! We're off! If we don't leave now, we're going to miss the opening act!"

As she spoke, Seraphine proactively connected with the Mark of Joy engraved on her flower-room, which linked to her brain, central nervous system, and even her soul. Upon receiving Seraphine's connection, a portal to the Spirit Realm quickly opened. Stepping inside, Sona initially felt the surrounding environment turn into a bizarre blur of light and colors. By the time she regained her senses, she had arrived at a golden beach filled with warm sunlight and a cool sea breeze—a scene completely different from the real world of Ionia, where it was already the middle of the night.

Shortly after arriving on the beach, Seraphine led Sona to a small, Western-style house not too far away.

Stepping inside, what met Sona's eyes were all sorts of beautiful girls. To Sona, or rather, to the vast majority of people in this world, suddenly seeing so many beautiful girls gathered together—each with different appearances and unique temperaments—was an astonishing sight.

Vibrant and energetic, elegant and dignified, seductive and alluring, well-proportioned, slender and graceful... Entering her sight, it was like a bouquet of distinct, colorful flowers gathered in one place.

And gathered together, these girls weren't just idly waiting for the main event to start.

In fact, everyone had their own careers. Due to the distances in the Material Realm, even these girls—who were intimate enough in private to happily share Faen's "baguette" and life essence together—sometimes had to play "good cop, bad cop" with each other for the sake of their respective regions' interests. Previously, Faen would frequently host massive sex parties in the Spirit Realm.

And when their flower-rooms were pumped full and their hidden paths fucked loose, forcing them to rest, the girls would languidly chat about matters related to their careers.

Unfortunately, due to Faen's recent "energy-saving and emission-reduction" policy, the girls hadn't seen each other for quite some time.

Especially since, even during the parties, it wasn't always possible for everyone to be present. So, with everyone gathered together this time, the girls spontaneously began discussing business collaborations before the main event officially started.

"Bilgewater is nearing the Harrowing, and the fish catch has decreased somewhat. The remnants of the pirates I suppressed earlier seem to be showing signs of resurging. Do you have time for a joint law enforcement operation?" Miss Fortune, Sarah, holding a glass of red wine, walked up to the current de facto ruler of Piltover, Caitlyn, and asked:

"Or, you could support me with a batch of equipment. Once the matter is resolved, I can use it as an excuse to arrange a new shipping route. But you have to give me a cut of the profits to replenish my private stash."

As the Crimson Empress of Piltover, having risen to power through Faen's support, Sarah had taken over Bilgewater. But with Faen's departure, some stubborn pirate remnants had begun plotting rebellion—not because Sarah couldn't suppress them, but because chaos was a part of Bilgewater; it was Bilgewater's reflection in the Spirit Realm.

Just as the consciousness of magic can corrupt human thought, no matter how peaceful and prosperous Bilgewater became, as long as its Spirit Realm form remained, people would still be influenced by it. Completely changing and erasing this inherent Spirit Realm residue would require a long time to change the mindsets of Bilgewater's locals and the perceptions people from other parts of Runeterra held toward the city. And altering both of these prejudices required a vast amount of time.

This was also the conclusion Faen had reached after observing the Spirit Realms of the Twin Cities and Bilgewater for a long time, and after discussing with Karma how to change the ideological trends in Ionia's Spirit Realm.

This could be considered the underlying logic unique to Runeterra—how the numerous city-states, despite having different cultures, ideological trends, and concepts, could still coexist in this world in a strange manner.

Hearing Sarah's words, Caitlyn remained silent for a moment before shaking her head regretfully. "Although the new shipping route is tempting, Piltover has currently reached its maximum load capacity. As you know, we are also undergoing massive development over here, especially since the Council recently passed a series of proposals to stimulate technological advancement.

However, if you need military equipment support, you can talk to Zeri. Zaun currently needs a victorious war to promote its new weapons and find buyers for its chemtech gear. As for Hextech equipment, if you need it, I can talk to Jinx about arranging a large-scale smuggling operation."

"I would be deeply grateful~" Hearing this, Sarah happily clinked glasses with Caitlyn. After taking a sip and a brief silence, Sarah couldn't help but chuckle softly and said, "Although I'm currently just a pregnant bitch waiting to bear Hubby Faen's children, based on the current reality, both I personally and my career have benefited immensely~"

Hearing this, Caitlyn nodded in understanding, then said frankly, "Success is always inseparable from certain opportunities~"

"A toast to our dear Master," Sarah invited with a light smile.

While everyone was having a pleasant conversation, someone also noticed Seraphine's arrival. Sure enough, Zeri excitedly called out, "Seraphine! Long time no see! Do you have time to come to Zaun for a concert? The people of Zaun really miss you!"

Hearing Zeri's words, Seraphine's face broke into an affectionate smile, and she responded cheerfully, "Of course, no problem! But you might have to wait a little while! Because I have to be with Darling right now. Oh, right—let me introduce everyone to our new sister! Sona!"
