Chapter 2 - 2. Binding Vow and Introductions

"Ah! I was looking for you. I am Geto Suguru, and I have come to you with a proposal that will be beneficial for you. I am sure that you will be interested."

I looked at Kenjaku, currently wearing Geto's body.

This guy is most dangerous to me, since he sees me as a pawn for his goal.

Still, Kenjaku knows almost everything about Jujutsu, and I can't really escape him. I am sure that even if I don't follow him, he will just keep an eye on me to watch me grow, and then subdue me the moment he thinks I have grown enough.

Cursed Spirit Manipulation is busted in terms of surveillance afterall.

So, following him is the best thing to do right now.

"So, what do you want?"

"I am seeking an alliance with Cursed Spirits and Curse Users for people like us to stand a chance against surviving.

Moreover, I can feel your potential. And if the enemy side, the Sorcerers see you, I am sure that they will realise your potential as well and try to exorcise you.

And if Gojo Satarou comes after you, you stand no chance. We all don't.

So, us weak should gather together to stand a chance."

"Hmm... I don't understand what you are yapping about. But you seem experienced. What is Cursed Spirit, Sorcerer and such? Who is Gojo Satarou that you are so scared of?"

I let him yap more, not really paying attention and just nodding along my head. Kenjaku also noticed that I wasn't listening seriously, but he didn't really care.

Afterall, I am just born recently.

"Well, I guess I will follow you, for now. But on certain conditions."

"Oh?"

"Teach me everything you know about Jujutsu."

He seemed curious and didn't look like he is against it.

I didn't say anything about making a binding vow to not betray me, since Kenjaku will never agree and get on guard from me.

"That's it? Alright. Then let me teach you something very basic about Jujutsu. It's called a Binding Vow, which ensures that promises are kept.

Instead of just a verbal agreement with no trust, a Binding Vow is used to ensure that the agreement is upheld. The one breaking it gets serious punishment."

"Like?"

"Well, if a binding vow is with yourself, you just lose the benefits you gained from it. But if it is a binding vow with others, breaking it might even lead to death. Though there are still many unknowns about it."

"Oh."

"In any case, I agree on the binding vow that I will teach you everything I know about Jujutsu, though what you are able to learn is entirely upto you. I will basically show you what is done how, once or twice. Or if I can't show you, just tell you as much as I know.

But if you aren't able to learn, it will still be considered that I have taught you that."

"Alright. Then I will follow you for now."

I shrugged and followed him, while looking at his soul.

Honestly, I expected his soul to be in the shape of his brain. Afterall, that is Kenjaku.

But curiously enough, his soul was shaped just like his body, like that of Geto. Only the soul was too strong in the brain region.

So, the body does effect the soul as well?

Anyway, I will learn how to properly split my soul into fingers like Sukuna, just for insurance.

But, as a Cursed Spirit, can he really incarnate in someone's body like sorcerers? Is there even a need for it?

Or maybe that isn't even needed, and he can just reform from a finger directly?

"We are here."

After a while, Kenjaku opened the gate of an apartment, and instead of the inside of a house, it was a beach.

Dagon's Domain.

Still, exactly how did Dagon, a baby Special Grade Cursed Spirit, keep his Domain activated for so long like this?

As we arrived near the beach chairs, the other Cursed Spirits stood up.

"Let me introduce you guys. This is..."

"Oh right. I didn't tell you my name, did I? I am Mahito."

"Yeah. And these are your fellow Special Grade Cursed Spirits. Jogo, Hanami, and Dagon."
