Chapter 152: The Sunny Takes Flight – Garp's Pursuit & Kaido's Unexpected Appearance
Sol suspected that his brain had been damaged by Kaido's earlier attack, causing this hallucination. What kind of "surprise" was this? So everything before was just buildup for the theatrical version, and now we've finally reached the climax?
In that moment of daze, he saw Luffy's body turn completely red, steam boiling around him. With Sanji's "Air Force Rubber SHOOT" as a boost, he shot into the sky like a rocket and delivered a long-charged "Rubber Jet Spin Bullet" that slammed hard into Shiki's cheek!

Shiki was sent flying backward by this sudden punch. Nami fell from the air and was caught in time by Sol, who rushed forward.
From Shiki's perspective, he only heard an angry roar before a heavy blow landed on his left cheek. His body flew backward uncontrollably until he barely stabilized himself just before hitting the sea, hovering above the surface.
Kuzan and Garp did not follow Sol. Instead, they stayed where they were and chatted.
"Vice Admiral Garp, is that really your grandson? Could it be someone else?" Kuzan stroked his chin, looking incredulous.
"Hah? What nonsense are you spouting, you frozen brat! If Luffy isn't my grandson, then who is?" Garp glared at him in dissatisfaction.
"Ah, I didn't mean it that way… I fought against him and Sol not long ago. I know Sol's strength clearly, but this kid… I'm certain I subdued him quite easily back then." Kuzan scratched his head as he explained.
"Wahahahaha! As expected of my grandson—his strength improves so quickly!" Garp not only didn't doubt it, but laughed heartily on the spot, full of pride.
"What's your name, brat?" Shiki spat out a mouthful of bloody saliva and stared at Luffy. He had clearly underestimated him; he hadn't expected this rubber kid to have some real skill.
Luffy hovered in the air using Moon Step, his face full of anger. Today, one person after another had targeted his nakama. Just thinking about it made his blood boil: "I'm Monkey D. Luffy, the man who will defeat you!"
"Monkey? What an unpleasant surname… But it doesn't matter. I'll just kill you." Shiki seemed to recall some unpleasant memory and snorted coldly. He raised his leg and delivered a slash. The long sword on his foot kicked out a massive sword energy, slicing straight toward Luffy in the air!
Luffy didn't retreat at all. He coated both arms in Armament Haki and fired a "Rubber Jet Rocket Cannon" that shattered the sword energy. Immediately after, he raised his leg and delivered a "Rubber Jet Axe" straight down from above!
Shiki used the Float-Float Fruit to gather floating ice from the sea surface in front of him, forming an ice wall that easily blocked Luffy's angry strike. Only then did he notice something wrong—where did all this ice come from in this sea area? He scanned around and his pupils suddenly shrank: "Why are you here, Garp?!"
"Didn't you notice me below when you dropped that island?! Then take my fist first!" Garp launched forward like a bullet, his sandbag-sized fist carrying a piercing sound as it slammed straight toward Shiki's face!
Shiki saw the demon-like Garp closing in and hurriedly raised his arm to block, but he was still sent flying by that terrifying brute force, crashing heavily into the depths of the island he had just dropped.
"Lion Majesty – Earth Roll!" Shiki's roar came from inside the island. The ground of the entire island was lifted by his Float-Float Fruit ability, turning into multiple ferocious lion-head rock formations that roared as they bit toward Garp! At the same time, several of them shot toward Luffy in the air.
"Such petty tricks—don't embarrass yourself, Shiki!" From the center of the mountain of rock and soil came Garp's loud laughter. The next second, the entire mountain exploded, and Garp leaped out completely unharmed!
Luffy also exited Second Gear, bit his thumb and blew air—Third Gear "Giant Rubber Gatling" erupted, smashing every incoming rock lion head one by one!
While Sol was watching the battle, he suddenly saw one of the rock lions that was charging toward Luffy veer off and head straight for him. He was momentarily stunned, then opened his mouth and unleashed a "Heavenly Dragon's Roar" to pulverize it: "Is it coming for Nami?"
While thinking, he casually used his ability to dry Nami's soaked clothes. Feeling the warm current, Nami let out a soft hum and slowly woke up.
"Sol?! Why are you here? I clearly remember being trapped by seawater and then losing consciousness…" Nami woke up, her shark teeth instantly showing as she shouted angrily, "One after another, you really treat me like a soft persimmon, huh! I'm so pissed!" With that, she let go of her boyfriend's embrace, transformed into a golden thunderbird, spread her wings, and flew toward the high sky. "Just wait—I'm definitely going to make a big move!"
"Looks like she's really pissed off this time." Sol watched Nami fly away in a rage and shook his head helplessly. He then descended beside Kuzan. "Yo, Admiral-san, what are you standing here for? Aren't you going to keep an eye on the Golden Lion?"
"With Vice Admiral Garp over there, I'm not worried. Since you're here, why don't we team up to stop Kaido? We can't let him go over and cause trouble. With his personality, after taking a loss just now, he definitely won't let it go easily." Kuzan took the opportunity to extend the invitation.
"Kaido fell into the sea, didn't he? If I just go down and fish him out, won't that be enough?" Sol said, stroking his chin.

"Leave it to me!" Sol acted first, "devouring" and converting all of Kaido's tornadoes, absorbing them as his own magic power.
"Dragon Slayer magic can restore stamina by eating flames and storms, huh? Then how about this move! Tornado Bad Wind!" Kaido noticed that the wounds he had left on Sol earlier were recovering rapidly. While releasing more tornadoes, he spat out a large number of sharp wind blades from his mouth, raining down from all directions.
"Heavenly Dragon's Wing Strike!"
Sol wrapped his arms in high-speed wind and swung them like a dragon spreading its wings, slapping away the incoming wind blades. Kaido had guessed correctly—facing such a dense attack, Sol wasn't stupid enough to take it head-on.
"Ice Wall."
Kuzan stomped the ground, and thick ice walls instantly rose around them, blocking Kaido's assault. "Ah la la… Kaido-san, how about I join the next part of the fight?"
