Chapter 119: Crisis at Water 7 – Iceburg Attacked & Emergency Surgery

When the unusual loud crash came from the room, the ongoing party outside with the Franky Family and Straw Hats instantly fell silent. Zanbay and Luffy were the first to rush in. They saw the room in complete disarray—broken furniture, scattered blueprints everywhere—and Sol standing alone in the center with a grave expression.

"Franky big bro! Where's Franky big bro?!" Zanbay looked around frantically, shouting loudly.

Sol raised a hand to stop him: "Don't waste your energy. He's not here anymore."

Zanbay turned to Sol, tone full of respect and urgency. The Franky Family held great admiration for the man who had defeated their boss and still earned his willing help to build a ship: "Sol big bro, what the hell happened?"

Sol didn't answer directly. Instead he asked: "At this time, isn't there exactly one sea train leaving Water 7?"

Zanbay froze for a second, then immediately replied: "Yes—there's one heading to Enies Lobby. It's the last train today. Because Aqua Laguna is coming early, the sea train schedule has been drastically reduced. Why are you suddenly asking about this?"

Sol showed a look of sudden realization: "Because Franky has most likely already been taken toward Enies Lobby." He turned and strode outside. "Luffy—we need to get back to the Merry right now!"

"Wait!" Sanji suddenly reacted, his voice trembling slightly from tension. "Are you saying… Robin-chan and Vivi-chan are in trouble too?"

"Then what are we waiting for?! Let's hurry back and find Robin and the others!" Nami urgently called everyone. The Straw Hats moved instantly, rushing out of Franky's place like a gust of wind, leaving the stunned Franky Family behind. Zanbay finally snapped out of it and began explaining everything to his brothers.

On the way back, Luffy ran close beside Sol and asked seriously: "Sol, who were you fighting just now? Were they the ones who kidnapped Robin and Vivi?"

Sol accelerated while answering in a deep voice: "CP9. World Government special agents. They've been lurking in Water 7 for years and are finally making their move."

"Aren't CP organizations usually just eight people?" Sanji asked doubtfully while running.

"Not exactly," Sol explained gravely. "The first eight CPs are the publicly known, openly operating branches. CP9 is the World Government's direct secret intelligence agency. Members must master at least three of the Six Powers to even join. Beyond that, there's an even more mysterious CP0—they mainly handle protecting the Celestial Dragons." He shared these government secrets openly with his crew.

Sanji looked deeply shocked—he had never heard of these two hidden branches within the CP organization.

Luffy clenched his fist fiercely: "I don't care what CP or whatever! If they dare touch my nakama, I'll beat them flying!"

Usopp visibly trembled at the words "World Government," but still summoned courage: "Y-Yeah! Leave it to the great Captain Usopp—I'll definitely save Robin and Vivi!"

"If anyone gets in the way, just cut them down," Zoro said concisely, already gripping Wado Ichimonji.

Soon they reached the Merry. Chopper sniffed the air hard the moment he boarded and said anxiously: "There are several unfamiliar smells on the ship!" After a quick search, they confirmed the heartbreaking truth—Robin and Vivi were gone.

"Damn it!" Luffy clenched his fist and looked at Nami. "Let's set sail right now and chase after Robin and the others!"

But Nami shook her head, face grave: "We can't. I'm already feeling a very strong south wind. If nothing unexpected happens, that's the legendary mega-tsunami 'Aqua Laguna' approaching. With the Merry in her current state, she can't possibly withstand it."

"We won't know unless we try! I believe in Merry!" Luffy said firmly.

At that moment, a drunken voice came from below: "That little lady's right." Granny Kokoro walked over with Chimney. "Aqua Laguna is a massive tsunami accompanied by thunder, lightning, and giant waterspouts. If this ship goes out to sea in its condition, being smashed to pieces would be considered lucky."

"Granny Kokoro, why are you here?" Sanji asked.

"Hic Because the tsunami's coming early, I brought Chimney back to take shelter—and swung by to warn you guys. What? You're planning to leave Water 7 right now?" Granny Kokoro asked.

Sol explained the whole situation in detail to Granny Kokoro. After listening, her face visibly darkened. She made an immediate decision: "Follow me to Galley-La Company right now. Iceburg should have a way."

Though confused, Luffy and the others chose to trust her. The group hurried after her toward Galley-La Company headquarters.

But the scene that greeted them was completely unexpected. A massive crowd of citizens had surrounded the outer perimeter of Galley-La Company—pure chaos.

After asking around, they learned a shocking piece of news: Mayor Iceburg had been attacked and shot multiple times. He was currently unconscious and his life hung in the balance.

Granny Kokoro didn't hesitate. She immediately led Sol and the others straight to Iceburg's bedroom. The company employees all knew of Granny's deep bond with the mayor. Seeing Sol's group following her, they assumed they were accompanying doctors and not only didn't block them—they actively led the way.

Shortly after arriving at the bedroom, Bari—still wrapped in bandages—rushed in with a doctor: "Doctor! I brought the best doctor on the island!"

"Cool kid, Iceburg is in your hands now," Granny Kokoro said to Sol, knowing he had healing abilities.

"Hey, Granny Kokoro, who's this guy? This is the best doctor on our island!" Bari tried to stop them, but Granny sharply scolded him.

Sol ignored the wrong name and immediately called Chopper over to examine Iceburg's injuries together. They discovered Iceburg had been shot multiple times—the most dangerous bullet had missed his heart by a fraction of an inch and nearly killed him instantly. Even so, he was barely clinging to life, teetering on the edge of death.

"He's too badly wounded, Sol! Help me stabilize his vitals first—I need to operate immediately to remove the bullets!" Chopper said. As he spoke, an undeniable aura of professionalism radiated from him.

"Scalpel!" At Chopper's command, the doctor Bari had brought instinctively opened his surgical kit and skillfully handed over various instruments, automatically acting as Chopper's assistant.

Sol continuously cast healing magic from the side, barely holding onto Iceburg's last breath. Chopper focused completely—his movements lightning-fast and precise. He made incisions at the wounds, used forceps to extract the bullets, and swiftly stitched everything up. The nearby doctor acted like an experienced nurse, constantly passing tools and wiping sweat.

The surgery finally ended. All bullets were removed from Iceburg's body. He was out of immediate danger, and color slowly returned to his face.

"Tanuki doctor, your medical skills are truly outstanding," the doctor said sincerely. "It felt just like when I was an apprentice under my teacher."

Chopper immediately squirmed with embarrassment, though his body unconsciously swayed happily left and right: "Idiot! I'm a reindeer, not a tanuki! And… even if you praise me like that, I'm not gonna be happy about it!"

"Liar—you're obviously thrilled!" Usopp and the others chorused from the side.
