Chapter 92: Skypiea – Chaos at Shandora & Enel's Golden Arrogance
After Sol and Luffy successfully pinned down the enemies, Chopper helped Zoro leap down from Seiketsu's back.
Zoro's face was slightly pale, but his eyes remained sharp. Blood still seeped from his wounds—clear evidence of a brutal fight.
Nami spotted them and hurried over, brows tightly knit: "Chopper, Zoro? How are you two here? And Zoro—don't tell me those injuries are from running into a priest too?"
Chopper nodded, voice carrying a hint of lingering fear: "Yeah, some guy who called himself the priest of the 'Iron Trial.' But Zoro already took him down! I just didn't have my medical kit with me, so I could only do basic first aid."
After hearing it was Zoro getting lost that led to the encounter, Nami facepalmed and sighed, turning a helpless gaze toward him: "So… you ran into enemies because you got lost?"
Zoro snorted coldly and stubbornly looked away: "Shut up. Winning is what matters."
"Yeah, yeah, great swordsman sir, you're the strongest." Nami rolled her eyes, too lazy to argue further, and shifted her attention back to the battlefield.
On the other side, Wiper was forced back by Luffy's onslaught, rage flaring even hotter in his eyes. He suddenly raised his foot to block Luffy's kick, then immediately shouldered the Burning Bazooka again. White-hot flames surged violently from the muzzle: "Damn Qinghai scum! If you won't back down, then die!!"
Luffy grinned fearlessly, pulling both arms back to their limit, rubber muscles taut and coiled: "Burning Bazooka? Then I won't lose to you either!"
"Burning Bazooka!"
"Gum-Gum Rocket!!"
The two ferocious forces collided head-on. Scorching fire waves and rubber shockwaves exploded outward. Wiper was blasted backward by the immense force, crashing heavily and only barely caught by Mantis and the others. The Burning Bazooka in his hands shattered completely from the impact.
Luffy slammed into the ground like a cannonball, bouncing several meters high, body charred black and smoking faintly. But he quickly flipped back to his feet, dusted himself off, and flashed his signature bright grin: "So hot! But I still win!"
As the battle intensified again, Mantis raised his arm and shouted: "Wiper, fall back first! We're up!" The Shandian warriors behind him roared in response, brandishing various weapons and charging toward the Straw Hats.
But just a few steps in—sudden change!
"Thirty Wheel Flower · Strangle!"
With Robin's cool voice, dozens of arms sprouted like venomous snakes from the warriors' bodies, precisely locking around every throat. A series of sickening joint-cracking sounds rang out—"crack crack"—and the Shandians collapsed one after another.
"It's only been a little while and things already got this lively." Robin walked gracefully from the edge of the battlefield, long black hair fluttering lightly in the hot wind. She came to Nami's side and tilted her head slightly: "So… can someone tell me what's going on?"
Nami spread her hands helplessly: "Honestly, I don't even know anymore. It just… suddenly turned into a fight."
Robin nodded understandingly: "Then we'll have to subdue them first."
"Eh? All of them?" Chopper's eyes widened.
Meanwhile, Wiper roughly shoved aside Raki, who was trying to bandage him, and staggered to his feet: "Damn it… another ability user?" He spat a mouthful of blood, then suddenly lunged at Luffy. After several exchanges of fists and kicks, Wiper abruptly changed tactics—his right palm clamped down hard on Luffy's face.
"You bastard! What are you doing?!" Luffy desperately tried to pry open Wiper's vise-like grip with both hands.
"Reject!"
With a fierce shout, an impact wave slammed into Luffy's head. His neck stretched instantly; his head smashed deep into the ground.
But before Wiper could catch his breath, that rubber head sprang back even faster.
"Gum-Gum Bell!"
An Armament Haki-coated forehead smashed brutally into Wiper's face with a sickening crunch. Wiper's eyes rolled back and he collapsed straight backward.
"Know my strength now?!" Luffy shouted, shaking his bleeding head. If he hadn't coated his face with Armament Haki at the last second, that hit might have split his skull open.
Raki knelt on the ground, trembling hands covering her mouth, pupils shaking violently. She couldn't believe the scene—within mere minutes, all her comrades had been defeated by these Qinghai people.
Bang!
A muffled impact sounded nearby. Sol's elbow smashed like a sledgehammer into Yama's thick belly; the massive man doubled over in pain. But the Divine Commander still forced a counterattack—the ten Impact Dials on his shoulder straps all lit up with cold light at once.
"Full Impact Slash!"
Yet the expected scene of torn flesh never came. The collision of the Impact Dials produced only a crisp metallic ring.
"What's happening?!" Yama's eyes bulged; cold sweat instantly soaked his back.
Sol slowly raised his head, lips curling into a wild grin: "Ever heard of Armament Haki?" His right fist suddenly ignited with blazing flames; the air warped from the heat. "Now it's my turn—Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"
BOOM!!!
Accompanied by a deafening sonic boom, Yama's enormous body turned into a shooting star, streaking across the sky with a long tail of flame. On the ground, a charred trench stretched hundreds of meters; the end was already empty. The remaining Divine Soldiers stood frozen, weapons clattering to the ground one after another. Sol quickly finished them off.
At the same time, victory came from Nami and Robin's side as well. Two strange enemies calling themselves Satori and Gedatsu (or rather their equivalents) lay foaming at the mouth at the women's feet, smoke rising from their heads.
Clap, clap, clap
Sudden applause rang out. Everyone looked up to see Enel lounging lazily on a floating cloud ball, golden earlobes swaying gently with his laughter.
"Yehahahaha… splendid performance, Qinghai people." He looked down mockingly at the group. "I never expected that in the end, the ones standing on this land would be neither those stubborn Shandians nor my useless subordinates."
His gaze suddenly shifted to the still-mourning Nora nearby, a trace of irritation flashing in his eyes: "So noisy, Lord of the Sky."
"God's Judgment!"
Blinding lightning descended from the sky. Nora's massive body instantly charred black and smoking, crashing heavily to the ground.
Enel narrowed his eyes in pleasure, lips curling into a playful smile: "Yehahahaha~" He drawled lazily, fingers lightly tapping his golden staff. "Allow me to introduce myself—I am the supreme god of this sky island… Lord Enel."
He spread both arms wide; golden bracelets gleamed in the sunlight. "Congratulations on passing my sacred trials. As a reward, I shall grant you the honor of following me to the limitless earth!"
"Wait—I'm asking you something! Did you take all the gold from Shandora?!" Nami ignored everything about priests and limitless earth—she only cared where her gold had gone.
"Gold? You mean this?" Enel glanced at her casually. "The gold was moved out years ago. Only something that sparkles like this is worthy of my status."
Only then did Nami notice: four golden bracelets on each arm, double-layered golden anklets with pearl inlays on his bare feet, two golden rings on each big toe, and a golden staff as his weapon. Her fists clenched instantly.
