Lucian turned around as soon as the words left his mouth.
Though the expression on his face made it completely clear that he had absolutely no plan going forward. He had just spouted that off in the heat of the moment... Hell, he didn't even know what Zandar or Sovereign Academy looked like... and without having seen it even once, he couldn't just use his portal skill to travel there.
His movements were noticeably slow as he prepared to step into the gate.
Shit... seeing Zenith here, I thought maybe she'd help me out. But how can I ask for her help now after dropping such a cliché line in a fit of overconfidence...
He was just praying that Zenith would stop him one more time. And then...
