Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: The Abandoned Suguru Geto

"It's finally over. Let's go eat; Yaga-sensei has already made a reservation," Shoko said happily.

"Sounds good," Suguru Geto replied with a gentle smile.

Beside them, Ming nodded in agreement.

Satoru Gojo, however, looked disgruntled and turned his head away, clearly still sulking over his loss to Ming.

"Hey, Satoru, don't be such a child," Suguru Geto said, patting Gojo on the shoulder.

"Who are you calling a child?!" Gojo snapped, becoming even more irritated.

"Well, Suguru, you certainly have the potential to be a nanny," Ming said flatly. He was clearly in a good mood after winning against Gojo, and the smirk hadn't left his face.

"Shut up, Ming!" Suguru Geto said, a dark line appearing on his forehead.

"Damn it, Ming, you want to go again?" Gojo challenged.

"I'll pass. Fighting is exhausting," Ming declined. Being naturally "lazy," he had no desire to fight again since he had already won. Although they had only met today and the current situation was tense, Ming already considered Gojo and Geto friends. He wouldn't use lethal force on friends, making such a fight a pointless effort. Plus, breaking through Gojo's defense was a massive headache he didn't feel like dealing with right now.

"You're scared," Gojo taunted.

"Save your childish provocations, Satoru. They don't work on me," Ming said calmly. "Besides, scared of you? You don't even dare look me in the eye. Why would I be scared? Don't make me laugh."

"Tch, if I look you in the eye, you'll just use Genjutsu," Gojo retorted. While he wasn't exactly afraid, being tormented in an illusion could leave him in a weakened state. More importantly, with his hyperactive personality, spending three virtual days and nights trapped in a cross was the last thing he wanted.

"If I don't use Genjutsu, you can't even touch my body. How are you going to defeat me?" Ming countered.

"Damn it, you can't hit me either!" Gojo shot back.

"Who says? If you have the guts to stand still, let's see if my Kamui can't twist your head... right off," Ming said nonchalantly.

"Tch, with your slow speed? Try hitting me first," Gojo said angrily. He knew Ming wasn't joking; that Kamui ability could indeed ignore his "Infinity" distance.

"So, you can't hit me, and I can't easily beat you for now. Why waste the breath? You'd be better off sparring with Suguru," Ming said.

"Bastard, Ming, are you saying I'm weak?" Geto chimed in, his face darkening.

"I didn't say that," Ming denied immediately. However, his smug expression betrayed him. In truth, he didn't think Geto was weak at all; he recognized both Gojo and Geto as geniuses on his level.

"You guy, you're asking for it!" Suguru Geto finally lost his "nice guy" composure as his Cursed Energy flared.

"My, my. The world is so beautiful, yet you are so irritable. Let's go, Shoko."

Ming suddenly appeared next to Shoko. Before she could react, space began to distort around them. In an instant, they both vanished.

"That guy... his personality is even worse than yours, Satoru!" Suguru Geto fumed.

"Suguru, don't lump me in with that bastard," Gojo grumbled. "Anyway, let's hurry up and get there."

Gojo looked at Geto, then chuckled. "Hahaha! Well, Suguru, I'm heading out first too! Hahaha!"

With a clap of his hands, Gojo vanished on the spot.

Suguru Geto stood alone, looking around in a daze. "Damn it! You two bastards! Are you bullying me just because I don't have a spatial technique?!"

After a moment of frustration, Geto sighed and summoned a flying Cursed Spirit, taking off toward the coordinates Masamichi Yaga had sent.

Meanwhile, Masamichi Yaga felt enough time had passed and sent out the location for the dinner. He muttered to himself, "Those three are a massive headache, but each one is an extraordinary genius. Especially Ming... his technique is so strange. Genjutsu? I definitely misjudged him. And that intangibility... based on their reactions, it wasn't an illusion. Or was he hiding his real body elsewhere while using an illusory double?"

"No, that's unlikely. The Six Eyes would have noticed a double. Plus, the Cursed Energy he radiated wasn't fake. What is it then? And does he have two Innate Techniques? That lightning he used looks like a higher-tier version of typical electrical techniques. And that final move he was about to use against Satoru and Suguru... what could it be?" Yaga pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Forget it. My head hurts. I'll just ask him directly."

Just then, a vortex appeared in front of him. Ming and Shoko stepped out.

"A spatial technique?" Yaga looked at them in surprise. He knew Shoko only possessed Reverse Cursed Technique, so the source of the teleportation was obvious.

"Hi, Yaga-sensei."

"Good evening, Sensei," Shoko greeted, still looking a bit stunned. She hadn't expected to travel from the school to the restaurant in the blink of an eye.

An ability similar to that trash Gojo? Shoko thought, amazed. I thought he could only warp objects, but he can actually teleport people?

"Ming, Shoko. Take a seat," Yaga said, catching himself before he looked too shocked. As the teacher of these monsters, he couldn't afford to look overwhelmed. He could already imagine a certain white-haired brat laughing and saying, "Teacher, why are you so surprised? How lame."

"Where are Suguru and Satoru?" After the morning's events, Yaga had become familiar enough with them to use their given names.

"They should be here soon," Ming said.

Having seen the series in his past life, he knew Satoru Gojo could use Blue for long-range teleportation. (Note: Ming only knows the story after Yuji Itadori enters the school and has forgotten many details of the past.)

Yaga nodded.

A moment later, Satoru Gojo appeared. "Good evening, Sensei," Gojo greeted casually. Yaga gave a nod and gestured for him to sit.

"So you guys made it," Gojo said. He and Geto had already guessed Ming could teleport just like him.

"Of course. Who do you think I am?" Ming said with a mischievous grin. "By the way, Satoru... you didn't just leave Suguru behind by himself, did you?"
