One hundred years later...
The sky was blue. The sun was shining brightly and the wind was calm. It was mid-day and the birds was singing peacefully until…
Stzzz. Stzzz. Stzzz.
A red portal suddenly appeared in the sky and something flew out of it. Afterward the portal vanish like it was never there.Tony woke up in the middle of the street. The sun was shining brightly. He couldn't help but squint his eyes. The birds were chirping loudly. He could he smell the scent of living trees again.
'Ahh, It's been a while since I've seen sunlight. Looks like I'm back on earth. But where exactly am I.' Tony thought while taking in a deep breath of fresh air.
Looking around, Tony spotted what looked like a nearby gas station and decided to head over to the shop to ask where he was. Walking to the gas station Tony couldn't help but notice how different things were. There roads were different, instead of rocks, the roads were covered in some sort of metal. The cars on the roads were different from what he remembered, they were hovering a few inches above the ground.
Everything looked so unfamiliar that he began to question if this was the same earth he came from. As he got closer, Tony realized that there wasn't any gas at the gas station. Instead of gas, there were crystals fill with hydrogen.
Entering the shop, he noticed how different every thing was. Everything he could see in the shop was digital, the were holograms that show the various materials and food in the shop.the food in the. Even though he didn't enter many shops in the past, he knew they did not look like that.
'At least the cashier is human.' Tony thought with a relief look.
"Hi, can u tell where we are." Tony said.
"We're in Texas. You're not from around here are you?." The cashier said.
"No, I'm not. What day is it?" Tony asked with trepidation.
"It's Friday. You need to use the phone to call someone." The cashier said, pointing at the hologram near her.
"No, I'm good. What year is it?" Tony asked again. He started to have a bad feeling about everything.
