Hey everyone,
I'm writing this to let you all know what's going on.
The original Chinese novel that this fic is adapted from — Anime/Cartoon Card System (全民卡师:我用二次元卡组登神) — has stopped updating on the Chinese website. I don't know if the author has dropped it or if it's on hiatus, but there's been no new chapters and no word from them.
So that leaves us with two options:
Option 1: We stop here and wait. If the original author comes back and updates, I pick up the translation again from where we left off.
Option 2: I pick up this story from here and start writing it myself as an original continuation.
Here's what you need to know if we go with Option 2:
This story is going to change.
I'll keep everything we've built or break it — the characters, the cards, the world, all of it. But the tone? The direction? That's shifting.
If you're used to our MC steamrolling everyone with his anime cards while the enemies stand there in shock — that era is over.
Expect his cards to get beaten. Expect losses. Expect consequences.
Expect death. Expect brutality.
I'm not going to sugarcoat what's coming. This world has Calamities that wipe out cities( i mean the one i am thinking ) , an interstellar competition where losing means your entire planet loses its defenses, and alien civilizations that have been doing this for far longer than Earth has. It was always going to get darker — the original author just never went there.

One more thing. While I work on the new chapters (assuming you guys vote for Option 2), I have another fic in the same anime card system genre that I've been working on separately. I can upload that one in the meantime to keep you fed.
Honestly, I should've uploaded that one first. Uploading this translation instead was like axing my own foot — but hey, here we are.
