Neïle was a sweet and lovable boy. Yet no other child wanted to go near him.
Why ?
Simply because he drew strange things.
His drawings featured shapes that nobody understood, disturbing silhouettes and scenes that even adults found difficult to look at. These drawings made the other children uncomfortable. They frightened them, too.
When Neïle tried to explain what he was drawing, no one really listened to him. They looked at him with suspicion. They thought he was weird. Even the teachers in charge of the younger children thought he was strange.
Then, one day, a new student arrived in the class.
His name was Nicolas.
He was very sociable and, for his young age, surprisingly open-minded. He didn't care what others thought, or how they might react to Neïle. While others saw something disturbing, he saw a lonely boy above all else.
The two boys quickly became very good friends. They spent all their time together. They laughed, drew pictures and talked about everything and nothing. Little by little, they became inseparable.
Neither of them could imagine life without the other.
But the day before the start of Year 10...(or 9th grade)
A terrible tragedy occurred.
