Having gained a clear understanding of his abilities, Uchiha Yuzuru turned and went back inside to sleep.
With so much new information flooding his mind all at once, his spirit was a bit fatigued.
When Uchiha Yuzuru woke, the sun had already set.
He washed up briefly, then heard a knock at the door.
"Yuzuru, are you home?"
"Just a moment."
Uchiha Yuzuru straightened his clothes and opened the door to find Uchiha Mikoto's gentle face.
"Yuzuru, dinner's ready. Father is waiting for you."
"Got it."
Uchiha Yuzuru nodded and followed Uchiha Mikoto to her home.
"Hahaha... Yuzuru, congratulations on becoming a squad leader. Come, have a drink with me."
The moment he saw Uchiha Yuzuru, Uchiha Kaen waved him over with a laugh.
Uchiha Mikoto immediately chided, "Father, Yuzuru still has to abide by the three shinobi taboos—he can't drink."
Hearing this, Uchiha Kaen chuckled. "Mikoto, Yuzuru proposed a policy at the clan assembly to encourage marriage and childbearing among the clan. Looks to me like he's eager to lead by example. What's a little drink?"
Hearing Uchiha Kaen's teasing, Uchiha Yuzuru sat down at the table, his expression calm. "I am eager to lead by example—I'm just afraid certain people won't part with their precious daughter."
As he finished, Uchiha Yuzuru glanced at Uchiha Mikoto.
Under his undisguised gaze, Uchiha Mikoto's face flushed red and she lowered her head, her hands twisting at the hem of her clothes.

In the past, whenever their relationship came up, Yuzuru had always insisted that training came first.
He'd even said things like, "I don't have time to play romance games with you."

"Right now, Sarutobi Hiruzen and Shimura Danzo are both in their prime. Hatake Sakumo hasn't died yet. Aside from Tsunade, who's already suffering from hemophobia, Orochimaru and Jiraiya have probably already reached Kage-level strength."
