The hallways of the Suiseiryu Shrine echoed with the frantic patter of silk slippers.
Jasmine was in a dead sprint, her white-and-indigo train fluttering behind her like a
battle flag. She had just seen her three sisters—Mina, Liana, and little Yuna—carry a
fainted, ragdoll-like Jee-shahn into the royal conservatory. Jasmine charged toward
the entrance at full speed, her voice screaming through the empty corridors, "Don't
you dare touch my husband, sisters!".
Inside the conservatory, Jee-shahn remained unconscious on a plush bed. Beside
him, Yuna, the youngest with yellow hair and a pure heart, was gently fanning him
with a large tropical leaf, her eyes wide with genuine worry. "Poor Brother-in-law," she
whispered softly. "Sister Jasmine must have shaken the poor boy's soul right out of
his body. Look how pale he is". Meanwhile, Mina and Liana stared at the sleeping boy,
their thoughts drifting to his shimmering "Monster" form. Driven by curiosity and
attraction, they reached their hands toward the fainted Jee-shahn.Just as their fingers were inches from his chest, the conservatory doors burst open.
Jasmine stood at the entrance, her face a mask of rage. "What are you doing with my
husband?!" she demanded.
Mina merely put a finger to her lips, a playful glint in her eyes. "What do you think,
sis?". This only fueled Jasmine's anger and a deep blush. "But didn't you say he was
just a normal boy?" she stammered, pointing an accusatory finger.
Liana chuckled, leaning her face dangerously close to the unconscious Jee-shahn.
"We liked him from the start," she teased, turning back to Jasmine. "He's the one who
avoided us. Don't you think, Sister Jasmine?". To Jasmine's horror, Liana leaned
down and planted a kiss on Jee-shahn's forehead.
"I said GIVE HIM BACK!" Jasmine yelled, bursting into the room like a small, angry
shark. Mina immediately scooped Jee-shahn into her arms and began running around
the bed with Jasmine in hot pursuit. Liana tried to distract her, but Jasmine gave her a
deathly glance. "I won't forget you kissed my husband in front of me," she hissed,
"but first, I get my monster back!". Liana froze, momentarily terrified by the intensity
in her sister's eyes.
Yuna remained the only calm soul, fanning Jee-shahn with a large lotus leaf. "He
looks so tired," she whispered. "Maybe we should let him sleep. He said he was on
vacation, and Sister Jasmine nearly rattled his brain out of his ears". Jasmine
marched over, snatched the leaf from Yuna, and shooed the others away with her
staf. "He is my husband! You don't just kidnap a Monster because you're curious! If
he wakes up and thinks the 'noise' is coming from you three, he might turn this
garden into a parking lot!".
Suddenly, Jee-shahn let out a low, pathetic groan. His eyes fluttered open—not with
azure fire, but with the glassy, confused look of someone who had just been through a
centrifuge. He looked at Jasmine and the three sisters looming over him.
"The room... is still spinning," Jee-shahn mumbled, his voice small and defeated. He
reached up, blindly searching for the Azure Lizard in his hair. "Lizard... tell gravity to
stop moving. I want to get off the ride".
"See?" Jasmine snapped at her sisters. "You've broken him! He's just a dizzy child in
shell-patterned socks!".
At that moment, Jee-shahn's eyes sharpened. He gave a terrifying deathly glance
toward all four sisters—Jasmine included. They instantly stood in a trembling line,
forced smiles plastered on their faces as a chill ran down their spines. Jee-shahn
opened his mouth to speak, but only managed a faint "Tell them..." before passing out
again.
The tiny Azure Lizard popped out from his hair, shaking just as violently as its master.
Before it, too, fainted, it addressed the sisters in a surprisingly loud, squeaky voice:
"Master is currently sufering from extreme frustration because of his six students,
his six wives, his seven children, and his two empires!. He decided to take a vacation
for a few years in this form, but he was dragged here by you!". The lizard pointed a
tiny, accusatory claw at Jasmine.
"Master is far too frustrated," the lizard continued, its tiny head wobbling. "If he wakes
up now, he might kill every single living creature in your empire just for the quiet. Let
him sleep!". The lizard took a final breath before losing consciousness. "Two more
things: Master is leaving tomorrow to change his vacation spot because everyone
here is too noisy. Second... your elder brother is Master's student, and he is currently
in Virella with the other students, wives, and sons".With a final, dizzy smile, the tiny lizard fainted flat on Jee-shahn's chest. The room
went deathly silent as the color drained from the sisters' faces, their eyes wide in
total, comedic shock.
