The guest wing of the palace was silent, the air thick with the heavy, protective aura of
Jee-shahn's sleeping cultivation. After hours of drifting in the cosmic void, his peace
was interrupted by the soft click of the door. Empress Faeloria entered with a
triumphant smile, her eyes softening as they landed on the man who had delivered
her a kingdom.
Without a word, she sat on the edge of the bed, her weight pulling Jee-shahn from his
half-sleep.
"I was sleeping, beloved," Jee-shahn muttered, his eyes barely cracking open.
In response, Faeloria leaned down, her face inches from his, and kissed him deeply.
"Then let me join you," she whispered.
Jee-shahn blinked in shock, but his legendary laziness won out. "Sure," he sighed,
closing his eyes as Faeloria settled beside him.
The "Monster's" Nightmare
An hour passed in deceptive silence. When Jee-shahn finally opened his eyes again,
he felt a weight that was far heavier than a 100,000-man army.
He found himself surrounded. To his left and right, Faeloria, Emiko, Lupa, Yui, and
even Aiko—appearing in her more mature, elegant form—were sprawled across the
massive bed, sleeping peacefully with content smiles. As if that wasn't enough, Kaori
and Tara had arrived with fresh laundry and wine, only to succumb to the "sleeping
aura" and collapse into the pile of wives. The final blow came from behind his head. Little Shin was sitting perched on the
pillow, his tiny hands rhythmically tapping on Jee-shahn's eyelids as if he were trying
to find a hidden button.
The sheer "noise" of the domestic chaos was too much. The man who had faced the
bronze titan without blinking let out a mufled, horrified scream before his eyes rolled
back, and he fainted from pure stress.
The Pact of the Subordinates
Outside in the palace courtyard, the air whistled with the sound of practice strikes.
Sora, Ryuki, and Sparta were in the middle of a sparring session when the echo of
Jee-shahn's scream reached them.
Sora froze, his face turning a ghostly shade of white as he began to sweat. "Please...
tell me you didn't hear that. Tell me we didn't hear the Master's voice of despair." He
clutched his head. "If he finds out I forgot to guard his door and let the 'Wife-Army' in,
he's going to harvest my head for sure!"
Ryuki and the obsidian-scaled Sparta looked at each other in grim silence. Without a
word, they both gave a slow, synchronized thumbs-up.
"We heard nothing," Sparta rumbled, his voice like grinding stone.
Inside, the Azure Lizard curled up on Jee-shahn's head, snoring in sync with the
seven women and one infant who had successfully conquered the strongest being in
the world. The South was won, but for Jee-shahn, the real battle had just begun.
