Aurel looked at the panel automatically generated before him. The attributes seemed decent, but he still didn't know what was considered normal for his age.

Everything would become clear after entering the academy and comparing himself to other students. Still, according to common knowledge here, children from wealthy families start at a higher level since they are trained from childhood.

Well, that's common knowledge in every world. They have money and strength, so of course they use it. Cutting off his thoughts, he shifted his attention back to Father East, who was explaining.

"As I have taught you before, if you want to become a powerhouse, you need to awaken a skill." At his words, all the children focused on him. "If you haven't awakened a skill by fourteen, you remain ordinary for the rest of your life."

"Only thirty percent of the current population has fully awakened a skill, and most of those are ordinary skills that are pretty useless in combat." He strode to the blackboard, picked up a piece of chalk, and began scribbling.

"[Stargazers] you might think they're people who stare at the stars all day, wasting time." His remark drew laughter and giggles.

He smiled and continued, "But they are the ones gazed upon by the stars, which is why they can awaken skills. For the past five centuries, people have studied and researched this, and we've found many exciting answers, along with many questions and problems."

"Well, it might be too much for you to handle, so I'll skip the details." He exaggerated his helplessness, avoiding further explanation, which earned boos from the children. "So, these thirty percent are all gazed upon by the stars and awaken their skills at the age of fourteen. As for why the stars grant us power, maybe to protect ourselves or to serve our given destiny, as for what the cost that always remains a mystery."

His attention shifted toward the same boy he had just reprimanded, now closing his eyes again with a sigh. Putting the chalk down, he said, "So now, Aurel boy, will you answer my question?"

He shouted loudly, drawing everyone's attention back to the oldest boy in the class. Aurel, who had already drifted into sleep, jolted awake at the shout, stood up unconsciously, and looked at Father East with a surprised, bewildered expression.

Shit, shit, shit… did my eyes close again? What should I do now? I don't want to get hit by that thick book again, he muttered in his heart, scrambling for a solution.

Father East ignored the battle raging in his mind. "You're fully awake, boy?" Aurel nodded repeatedly, showing he was indeed awake.

"Now then, answer me, what are Stargazers?" Seeing him conscious, Father East repeated the question. But Aurel had been asleep before the lesson even began.

You ask why he didn't know? Well, he had no memory of Aurel before last night, only his past life. What could he do?

[Report: The most pitiful and useless host is in danger of being smacked by a thick book]

[Report: Please figure out how to escape your situation]

[Report: Please choose one of the following]

(A): Answer everything correctly

Reward: A pack of tissues

(B): Tell him "I don't know" with an arrogant tone

Reward: A 10 TB pendrive of study material

(C): Whatever! Just answer

Reward: Skill [I snap, and you moan]

[Please choose carefully]

Three different choices appeared before his eyes, each more outrageous than the last. No matter what he chose, he was bound to get hit.

'Option (A)?' Heck, how could he answer correctly when he didn't even know? For the love of dog lovers, couldn't he at least get Aurel's memories after transmigration? Why was he blank and empty?

'Option (B)?' Tempting, the reward was better than tissues. But to arrogantly tell Father East he didn't know? That would earn him a beating through the entire street.

'Option (C)?' Strange, maybe even useless, but at least it offered a skill. Better than tissues.

Okay, I will choose you option(C). The weird skill tempted him more than Option (B), and he chose without hesitation. Looking up, his eyes met Father East's, filled with confidence as if he truly knew the answer.

Father East studied Aurel, surprised at the sudden change in aura. Did he really know? Has this boy finally grown up? But still… this is the most basic knowledge, even four-year-olds know it.

"Stargazers are those who stare at stars all day, sitting in one place, doing nothing but wasting time."

His voice carried full confidence, as though he owned the answer. But the class fell silent. Not a single sound can be heard. Father East's face darkened three shades. His hand clutched the thick book as he stepped in front of the boy.

Smack.

"Oww."

Smackkkk.

"Owwww."

Smaaacckkkk.

"Ooowwwwwwwww."

"Hahahaha!" The whole class burst into laughter, making Aurel's miserable situation even worse as he lay on his desk, clutching his head tightly.

"You now stand outside the class and reflect on yourself," Father East said, pointing toward the door with a darkened face.

[Ding: Congratulations on completing your first Life Choice]

[Report: Skill (I Snap, You Moan) rewarded to host. Please use with pleasure]
