Grand Master Way: The "I Know Everything" Path
Where Strength is Optional, Knowledge is Mandatory, and Smugness is Inevitable
In a world where most cultivators fight for power, flashy moves, and exploding rocks, there exists a rare, slightly pretentious group of people. These cultivators don't just fight—they study fights, analyze fights, memorize fights, and then lecture others about fights they weren't even part of. They are the Knowledge Seekers, the so-called "Grand Masters," people who believe that if you understand the universe enough, you basically win before the first punch is thrown. Their motto could be: "Why smash when you can strategize?"
Unlike other paths, the Grand Master Way isn't just about training your body or soul—it's about training your brain, your patience, and your ability to act smug while others die horribly. A practitioner might spend an entire day calculating the probability of a cultivator tripping on a rock and still call it "intense training." Those who follow this path often have ridiculous confidence and an ego to match—because when you know how every star, energy, and magical law works, why shouldn't you?
Phase 1: Mortal Realm – "So You Think You're Smart?"
The Mortal Realm is basically the tutorial phase, where cultivators start with "I know a little but still get punched a lot" levels of power. Here, Knowledge Seekers learn to control Qi, Soul, and other mystical energies while pretending they aren't intimidated by bigger, stronger cultivators.
The realms and layers are ridiculously detailed because, of course, a Grand Master needs to know everything.
1. Qi / Soul / Fundamental Stage – Levels 1–9 and Peak: Basic energy control, AKA "Stop flailing and try not to explode yourself."
2. Beginner Realm – 9 Stars: First step into organized "knowledge smashing."
3. Veteran Realm – 9 Stars, 2 Layers: Learn from mistakes… mostly other people's mistakes.
4. Master Realm – 9 Stars, 3 Layers: Your first smug grin appears naturally.
5. Expert Realm – 9 Stars, 4 Layers: You start giving advice that no one asked for.
6. Sage Realm – 9 Stars, 5 Layers: You can lecture someone mid-battle.
7. Lord Realm – 9 Stars, 10 Layers: Time to boss around weaker cultivators.
8. King Realm – 9 Stars, 15 Layers: Everyone fears your eyebrows.
9. Emperor Realm – 9 Stars, 20 Layers: You start naming things after yourself.
10. Ancestor Realm – 9 Stars, 25 Layers: Your ancestors start bragging for you.
11. Monarch Realm – 9 Stars, 30 Layers: You can literally sign contracts with gravity.
12. Venerate Realm – 9 Stars, 35 Layers: People kneel automatically because it's convenient.
13. Immortal Realm – 9 Stars, 40 Layers: You don't die, you just sigh at mortality.
14. Half Saint Realm – Initial, Intermediate, Advance, 45 Layers: You realize even gods are basically rookies.
15. Saint Realm – 9 Stars, 50 Layers: People ask your opinion on everything—even what's for lunch.
16. Half God Supreme Realm – Initial, Intermediate, Advance, 75 Layers: Your ego gets its own wings.
17. God Supreme Realm – 1st–9th Rank, 100 Layers: Congratulations! You now know too much to care about anyone else, and probably enjoy monologuing during fights.
Phase 2: Sovereign Realm – "Now You're Pretentious"
Once you leave mortality behind, you enter the Sovereign Realm, where knowledge becomes authority. Now you don't just think, you command. You don't just analyze, you dictate reality itself and then sigh at people who can't keep up.
1. Sovereign Realm – 9 Ranks, 10 Layers: You start judging everyone's hairstyle while fighting.
2. Lower Earthly Sovereign – Early, Middle, Late; 50 Layers: Your minions start calling you "Sir Smug."
3. Upper Earthly Sovereign – Early, Middle, Late; 50 Layers: You begin naming your attacks "Absolutely Necessary."
4. Greater Earthly Sovereign – Early, Middle, Late; 50 Layers: You create paperwork for your enemies before killing them.
5. Earthly Sovereign Perfection – Early, Middle, Late; 50 Layers: Perfection achieved, hair still perfect.
6. Spiritual Heavenly Sovereign – Early, Middle, Late; 100 Layers: You can now lecture the wind.
7. Immortal Heavenly Sovereign – Early, Middle, Late; 100 Layers: Gravity apologizes when you step on it.
8. Holy Treasure Heavenly Sovereign – Early, Middle, Late; 100 Layers: Artifacts obey your sarcasm.
9. Saint Heavenly Sovereign – Early, Middle, Late; 100 Layers: You can insult someone telepathically from 10,000 Googol km away.
10. Overlord – Broken Saint – Early, Middle, Late; 10 Layers: At this point, your smirk is basically a weapon.
Phase 3: Dominator Realm – "Absolute Control (and Smugness)"
The Dominator Realm is where you stop asking permission and start forcing reality to listen to you. Each realm has 100 layers, because 100 is apparently the perfect number to flex your superiority.
1. Dominator Inspire – You inspire minions to think your thoughts while they fight.
2. Dominator Detachment – You detach from mortal concerns and also detach from shame.
3. Dominator Control – You control the battlefield, the universe, and occasionally the snacks table.
4. True Dominator – You are terrifying and smug at the same time; a rare combination.
5. Grand Dominator – People cry before they attack you—not out of fear, but out of admiration for your commentary.
Phase 4: Master Realm – "You Actually Know Everything"
This is it: the Master Realm, the peak of knowledge, where the cultivator literally becomes the internet. Each realm has 1000 layers because obviously, a Grand Master has way too much free time.
1. Master Control – Absolute command over everything, including minor annoyances.
2. Grand Master – You've mastered reality, other cultivators, and probably the art of sarcasm.
3. Absolute Grand Master – The peak. You know everything, can control everything, and have perfected the ability to insult opponents mid-battle without even touching them.
Notes
The Grand Master Way is not for fighters who want flashy moves. It's for those who want strategy, control, knowledge, and endless smug commentary.
Practitioners often lecture mid-fight. Sometimes they lecture themselves. Sometimes they lecture their enemies. All of it counts as progress.
If you insult someone effectively while using a devastating technique, congratulations—you're officially a Grand Master.
