Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Divine Selection (And a Very Jealous Pantheon)

The Throne Room was thick with a killing intent so potent it would have turned a mortal army into dust instantly. The 13 Divine Guardians stood in a semi-circle, their eyes burning with a mix of desperation and competitive fury.

Zeno sat on his throne, resting his chin on a hand adorned with a ring that held the core of a collapsed nebula. Internally, Sakura was sweating bullets. "If I pick wrong, they might actually start a Holy War right here in the living room ,Or they might think am acting weird guess I got to keep on pretending"

Zeno sighs inwardly

"Silence," Zeno spoke. The word wasn't loud, but it carried the [Authority of the Author]. The room froze.

"I have made my choice. To the mortal realm, I shall take only two.

He pointed a finger at the silver-haired wolf-woman whose tail was vibrating so fast it was blurring. "Reil. You shall be my eyes and ears in the wild."

Reil didn't just bow; she hit the floor so hard the marble cracked. "My life! My soul! My very existence is yours, Lord Zeno! I shall hunt any speck of dust that dares settle on your robe!"

Then, Zeno's gaze shifted to a woman with hair the color of deep emeralds and skin that smelled of fresh rain. Gaia GODDESS OF THE Earth, she stood a head taller than Reil, possessing a regal, statuesque physique. Her curves were softer, more refined—the kind of "mature" beauty that suggested infinite wisdom and boundless life. She had a narrow waist that flared into wide, world-bearing hips, creating a silhouette that felt both protective and overwhelming. Her hair was a breathtaking cascade of emerald-green hair that flowed down to her ankles, moving as if swayed by a wind only she could feel. Small, glowing blossoms occasionally bloomed within the strands before turning into golden dust. She wore a gown of living silk that shifted colors like the seasons. It was a masterpiece of "divine minimalism." The deep forest-green fabric was split high on both sides, reaching all the way to her curvy, world-bearing hips. With every step, her long, porcelain-smooth legs were put on full display, glowing with a soft, earthen light that made the surrounding marble look dull. The fabric was dangerously form-fitting, clinging to her lush, ripened curves and emphasizing her elegant assets in a way that commanded respect and awe. Unlike Reil's "warrior" look, Gaia's dress looked like it was grown directly from the planet's core.

The top of her dress was held together by a single, golden vine that wrapped around her neck, plunging into a daring, gravity-defying neckline. It left very little to the imagination, showcasing the deep, rhythmic swell of her chest and a generous amount of her supple, sun-kissed skin. To a mortal, it would be a lethal distraction; to Gaia, it was simply how the earth breathed—open, proud, and overflowing with life.

Zeno was even distracted by her body and beauty but regain composure,in his mind he was proud of making such a beautiful character then remember she was his assistant and leader of the guardians that is why she is always at his side.

"Gaia. The earth of the lower realm is weak. I require your hand to make it bloom."

Gaia's eyes widened, tears of pure liquid mana pricking her eyelids. "To tend the soil of the Creator... it is the highest honor in all the cycles of reincarnation."

But Zeno was to focused on her chest assets and beauty.

The other eleven Guardians looked like they had been slapped with a galaxy. Milira, the Goddess of Demons, bit her lip so hard it bled black ichor. "My Lord... surely a farmer needs a... a shadow? To dispose of the waste?"

"No," Zeno said firmly, standing up. "I seek peace. Not a massacre."

Zeno thought inwardly" if I allow u to follow there will be nothing but chaos"
