Chapter 1 - Unnamed

Prologue — The Day the Sky Burned

The sky did not fall quietly.

It screamed.

Missiles tore through the clouds like claws ripping open flesh. Cities trembled. Sirens cried across the nation of Velkris. And in the middle of the chaos, a single boy ran.

He ran faster than fear.

Faster than falling buildings.

Faster than death.

His name was Kael Ardyn.

The world would soon know him by another name.

Lord Of Speed.

Chapter One — The Boy Who Could Outrun Thunder

Kael was not born in greatness. He was born in dust.

The border town of Hadrik was poor, forgotten, and always the first to burn when war came. Kael grew up watching soldiers march past his home like storms that never asked permission.

But Kael had something strange about him.

When he was seven, he outran a wild stallion.

When he was nine, he crossed the river before the bridge collapsed beneath it.

When he was twelve, lightning struck near him — and he moved before the thunder came.

His mother used to whisper, "The wind chose you."

He laughed at that.

Until the day the war truly began.

Chapter Two — Operation Iron Sky

The enemy faction, The Dominion of Vharos, launched a full invasion. Their machines blackened the sky. Giant walking war titans crushed entire battalions beneath steel feet.

Kael was seventeen when Hadrik fell.

He watched his home burn.

He watched his mother disappear into smoke.

And something inside him broke.

No.

Something awakened.

The world slowed.

Falling ash hovered in the air like frozen snow. Soldiers moved like statues. Bullets crawled through space like lazy insects.

But Kael?

He moved normally.

He stepped between bullets.

He outran explosions.

He crossed a battlefield in a single breath.

When time resumed, twenty enemy soldiers lay unconscious.

That was the first day the military saw him.

That was the first day they named him.

Lord Of Speed.

Chapter Three — The War Becomes Personal

The Velkris High Command recruited Kael immediately.

"Your speed could change this war," General Tyren told him.

Kael's answer was simple:

"Give me their leader."

The Dominion was ruled by a ruthless war strategist known as Supreme Marshal Veykar — a man who believed speed was irrelevant in the age of machines.

Kael would prove him wrong.

Chapter Four — The Battlefield Phantom

The war shifted.

Supply lines collapsed overnight.

Missile silos were sabotaged before they launched.

Entire bases reported seeing a blur of silver light before everything went dark.

Soldiers whispered stories:

"He runs on air."

"He bends time."

"He is not human."

But speed has a cost.

Each time Kael pushed beyond his limits, his heart strained. His veins burned like molten wire. His body was not built for godlike velocity.

Yet he kept running.

Because war does not slow down.

Chapter Five — The City of Frozen Seconds

The final confrontation came in the capital of Vharos.

A city fortified with energy shields, anti-air cannons, and armored titans.

Kael did not attack with an army.

He ran alone.

As he entered the city, Veykar activated a forbidden weapon — The Chrono-Lock Cannon.

Time fractured.

The entire city froze in suspended animation.

Except for two figures.

Kael.

And Veykar.

"You are fast," Veykar said calmly, walking through frozen soldiers.

"But I have stopped the world."

Kael smiled.

"Then I'll just move faster."
