Chapter 49 - Episode 49 – Breaking the Pattern

🚆 Love Train in Facebook Station

01:32 PM – Estate War Room

The room felt quieter than before.

Not peaceful—

Controlled.

On every screen, streams of data moved in perfect order. No chaos. No noise.

Because at the center of it all stood Sasmita—completely still, completely focused.

Her eyes moved slightly as if she was reading something invisible.

Not just the screens.

But patterns beneath them.

Across the room, Srikant watched her carefully.

He had seen power before.

Influence. Strategy. Intelligence.

But this…

This was different.

This was something he couldn't predict.

Beside him, Rudra Sen spoke quietly—

"She's not processing data anymore."

Srikant didn't look away.

"Then what is she doing?"

Rudra answered slowly—

"She's anticipating it."

The Shift

Suddenly—

Sasmita spoke.

"They're not done."

Both men looked at her instantly.

Srikant stepped forward.

"What do you see?"

She turned slightly toward the main screen.

"The warrant wasn't the real attack."

Her voice calm.

Precise.

"It was a distraction to test response time."

Rudra frowned.

"Test for what?"

Sasmita's eyes sharpened.

"For Phase Four."

Pattern Recognition

She walked toward another console.

Without hesitation, she opened multiple hidden nodes.

Data points appeared—

Satellite movements.

Encrypted signals.

Financial anomalies.

She connected them in seconds.

"They've already placed assets in three locations."

Srikant crossed his arms.

"Targets?"

She zoomed into the map.

Three red points blinked.

1 – Delhi

2 – Dubai

3 – Singapore

Rudra's expression changed.

"These are global influence hubs…"

Sasmita nodded.

"They're not attacking physically."

"They're replacing control systems."

The Real Plan

Srikant looked at her closely.

"Explain."

Sasmita replied instantly—

"They'll trigger simultaneous system failures."

"Stock exchanges."

"Communication grids."

"Security protocols."

"Then they'll offer 'solutions'."

Rudra understood immediately.

"Control through crisis."

Srikant's eyes darkened.

"They don't want power…"

"They want dependence."

Sasmita looked at him.

"Yes."

Internal Conflict

For a moment—

Silence returned.

Then Sasmita stepped back slightly.

Her breathing changed.

Not fast.

But heavier.

Srikant noticed instantly.

"What's wrong?"

She closed her eyes briefly.

"It's… too much."

Rudra moved closer.

"The protocol is pushing your brain faster than normal limits."

Sasmita held the edge of the table.

"I can still control it."

But her voice wasn't as steady now.

The Risk

Rudra spoke seriously—

"If you keep going like this…"

"You might lose emotional stability."

Srikant immediately reacted.

"Stop the protocol."

Sasmita opened her eyes.

"No."

Both men looked at her.

"If I stop now…"

"We lose advantage."

Srikant's voice became firm—

"This isn't about advantage."

"It's about you."

She stepped closer to him.

"And you?"

She looked directly into his eyes.

"When everything collapses…"

"Will logic save you… or emotion?"

The question hit deeper than expected.

Because Srikant knew—

Emotion had always been his weakness.

And his strength.

Breaking Point

Suddenly—

All screens flickered.

A new signal forced its way into the system.

Rudra reacted immediately.

"That's not external…"

"It's inside our network."

The central display turned black.

Then slowly—

A symbol appeared.

Axis mark.

And then—

Sovereign

He looked directly at them.

Calm as ever.

"I see progress."

Srikant's voice cold—

"You're losing control."

Sovereign smiled slightly.

"Am I?"

His gaze shifted to Sasmita.

"Or is she losing control?"

Silence.

Heavy.

Uncomfortable.

The Psychological Strike

Sovereign continued—

"You activated the protocol."

"Faster than expected."

Sasmita stared at him.

"You planned this."

"Yes," he replied simply.

Rudra stepped forward.

"You're pushing her beyond limits."

Sovereign didn't deny it.

"That's the only way to see her true potential."

Then he added—

"And her breaking point."

The Truth Bomb

Srikant's voice turned dangerous—

"What do you want?"

Sovereign answered calmly—

"Choice."

He looked directly at Sasmita.

"You can continue this path."

"Become something beyond human limits."

"Or…"

A pause.

"Stop now."

"And remain weak."

The words hit like a blade.

Sasmita's hands tightened.

Her mind racing.

Two paths.

Power.

Or identity.

The Decision

Srikant stepped in front of her.

"You don't need this."

She looked at him.

"And you don't need to fight alone."

Silence.

Then—

She slowly turned back toward the system.

Her fingers hovered over the control panel.

Rudra held his breath.

Srikant didn't move.

For the first time—

The decision wasn't his.

Final Scene

Sasmita closed her eyes.

Took a slow breath.

Then—

She pressed a command.

System response:

PROTOCOL OVERRIDE INITIATED

Rudra's eyes widened.

"She's not shutting it down…"

Srikant looked at the screen.

"Then what is she doing?"

The system glowed brighter.

New message appeared:

PATTERN BREAKING SEQUENCE STARTED

Sasmita opened her eyes.

Calm.

Controlled.

Different.

"I'm not choosing your options," she said softly.

"I'm creating my own."

Far away—

Sovereign watched silently.

For the first time—

His expression changed slightly.

Interest.

Real interest.
