Chapter 2 - Rich Orphan With Fashion Priorities

Fifi pushed open the gate and stepped into the vast yard of her house.

She stopped for a moment, looking around her own place.

No matter how many times she saw it, she was still surprised.

Her house itself was simple, but the land around it?

It was huge, easily ten times her house in terms of vastness.

"Seriously... why is the house small but the land so big?"

It felt like someone bought the land first and forgot to upgrade the house.

Even with all these riches, she couldn't help clicking her tongue in sadness.

"Dad... Mom..."

You got that right. She was now an orphan.

For some reason, her parents were given a job to protect some important stuff on a journey through wild lands.

And just like she expected, they died guarding it, leaving all these riches for her.

It really sounded like one of those background stories for MC.

Although it sounds generic for people who read novels and comics... they were still her parents.

"Mom... Dad... I miss you..."

Tears began to drip from her eyes, but she quickly wiped them, as she was not truly alone.

She still had a little brother, although he currently wasn't home.

He was staying at a friend's place tonight for some studying or gaming together.

She could only sigh as she entered her house and then her own room.

Before she went to her room, she looked at her family picture one more time.

This time there is not only sadness but also some anger.

Her parent's last gift, or you can say their first gift... her name.

"Fifi Fluffiel..."

She covered her face with her hands and sighed, groaning.

"Who even names their family surname with that name? Why the hell 'Fluffiel'?"

She turned back to the picture.

"Couldn't you give me something better or cooler?"

She was angry for a moment before crying a bit.

No matter what, this name... was the only thing her parents left her that would be forever on her and her brother.

"I'll keep it, so just keep watching us from above."

She entered her room and closed the door behind her.

She sat on the edge of the bed and leaned back on her hands.

After thinking about her current life, for some reason a memory of her past life appeared too.

She was nothing special. She was just an overworked office lady.

Yeah... an overworked office worker that died because she was too tired and got hit by a truck.

A generic background of each MC.

And also... at first, she was honestly happy when she realized she had been inseakered.

But to her surprise, it was different than she thought

Usually women like her would wake up in a dating sim world surrounded by handsome nobles as their reverse harem.

But instead...

She woke up in the world of beast taming, the world where male MCs usually came.

"What kind of plot twist is that?"

She turned to the side and pulled the blanket up to her chin.

Still... she didn't hate it. It was, after all, still a second life.

Now... she could choose how to live this time, but why was she thinking so much tonight?

It should be because of tomorrow's awakening ceremony.

What if there was no cheat or bonus for being a reincarnated person?

She clicked her tongue and turned over again.

"I can't keep overthinking like this. No matter what, I'm already here."

She looked at the ceiling of her room.

"No matter what talent I awakened, I would deal with it. For now, let's sleep. Tomorrow's problem is tomorrow's problem."

She closed her eyes and quickly drifted to dreamland.

---

The next morning, Fiif woke up a little later than usual.

"Finally..."

She sat up, rubbed her face, and quickly went to the bathroom to get a quick bath.

After that, she stood in front of her wardrobe.

"Hmmm... what to choose?"

She looked at her collection and decided to pick her best outfit.

"You're the one."

If today was the awakening, then she needed to show up as her best self to make her mind the best state.

What she chose was the outfit that she liked the best and also was custom-made.

The cut, the color mix, and every little detail were her own original designs.

It was an oversized pink jacket and a stylish golden-pink set of a crop top and short pants.

She also wore her limited edition pink and white chunky sneakers.

She adjusted her outfit carefully and posed in front of a big mirror.

"I'm really a beautiful trendy girl. Today I'll be the main star of this event."

She went out of her room and looked at the family picture on the table.

"Wish me luck from above... Dad... Mom..."

She smiled, grabbed her bag, and went out, quickly going to the conjunction where her friends were waiting.

The moment she arrived, she could see that her friends were already waiting for her.

Liora shouted out loud.

"You're late!"

Fifi immediately ran to her and shouted back.

"I'm not late! You're the one who is too early!"

She stopped in front of them and fixed her outfit.

Liora rolled her eyes and grinned.

"Heh. Excuses."

Fifi narrowed her eyes at her for a second... then waved it off.

"I'll forgive you, just for today. Thank the ceremony for that."

Liora shot back at her.

"Wow, how generous."

Fifi ignored her and took a proper look at both her and Zara.

They were currently wearing the outfits that she designed.

The same trendy streetwear concept that she was currently wearing.

Oversized jacket, stylish crop top, short pants, and a pair of chunky sneakers.

Don't forget the glasses to complete the look.

But the only differences were the different colors and some accessories.

Liora's color theme was a mix of blue and white, while Zara's was a mix of green and gold.

You could even say that their current outfit was the reason for their friendship.

Fifi couldn't help but think about the past and smiled about it.

Back then, Liora had tried to act casual about it, but for Fifi, she could see her desire.

"Hey... that outfit isn't bad. You think you can make one for me?"

And at the same time... Zara, who was near, heard about it and directly asked her too.

"I'd like one too. If it's not too much trouble."

That moment had been small, but it was the start of their precious friendship.
