After seeing Asthenia off, I walked back toward the heart of the castle and headed straight for the grand royal library.
Upon entering the quiet archives, I immediately spotted Theron Vale, the esteemed Scholar of the Athenaeum. He was sitting calmly at a large table, reading a book, or rather, running his eyes over several open books simultaneously.
"Lord Theron Vale, it seems you are enjoying yourself quite a bit in here," I said with a smile, stepping further into the room.
"Your Majesty." He immediately stopped his reading, turning toward me and bowing his head respectfully as he stood up.
"It is fine, please take your seat. I heard you have been spending the majority of your time in here. Do you find our archives to your liking?" I asked.
"Indeed, I do, Your Majesty. The history of Helios is as rich and deep as one might expect," he answered.
