Faye sat down on the dining chair, her legs folded beneath her while a blanket covered her whole body. She held a cup of hot choco prepared by her dearly beloved girlfriend, her eyes fixed on her still-dearly-beloved girlfriend, who was by the stove preparing something simple for her to eat. The warm mug felt soft against her cold palms, her lungs expanding with a sweet, steamy draft of air while her eyes followed every small movement across the room.
"Hmm, hmm, hmm…" Princess hummed as she made hot-pot pasta. She stirred the boiling pot with a wooden fork, her broad shoulders moving smoothly while her chest rose and fell in a happy, relaxed rhythm.
Princess hadn't been like that when Faye first woke up. She had still been sad because she had actually seen her girlfriend passed out on her.
