Third Person's POV
The morning sun was already pushing through the curtains. It was past 7 when Kaye stepped into the room. He stopped and looked at the mess on the floor. First, he went to his own bed. He ran his hand over the sheets. It was neat, but not the way he usually did it. Someone had touched his things. He wasn't fully happy about that, but he had bigger things to worry about.
He turned around and stayed still. His eyes went wide as he looked at Faye's bed.
There was his Aunt Faye, fast asleep. And right there, curled up next to her, was Princess Kings. They were tangled together under the blankets. Luckily, the covers were pulled up high enough to keep things decent. Kaye just stood there in total shock. His face was a blank mask. He didn't move a muscle.
"Kaye! Are you getting ready for school yet?" Eriko's voice boomed from the hallway. "It's almost 8. I have to drive you and Faye both, so move it!"
