Chapter 61 - Chapter 61 – The Unlucky Black Servant

"Sir, you have an email from Mr. Wade… meow~"

Tony didn't even react at first.

After weeks of Jarvis occasionally glitching with random cat noises, Tony had already grown used to it.

But a second later—

He shot up from the sofa like someone had pressed an eject button.

"Wait."

His eyes widened.

"Who did you say?"

"Wade?!"

Jarvis replied calmly.

"That is correct, sir. It is an email from Mr. Wade."

Tony didn't hesitate.

"Open it. Now!"

The holographic screen flickered to life.

The message appeared.

Tony leaned forward and began reading.

---

Tony,

By the time you read this email, I'm probably 'temporarily offline.'

Don't mourn for me. Don't run around trying to find me either. It's useless.

And don't worry—I can't die anyway.

Hopefully we'll meet again someday.

Oh, and one more friendly reminder: palladium poisoning doesn't feel very good.

When you have time, you might want to take another look at the 'legacy' your dad left in your office.

It looks suspiciously like a certain atomic structure, doesn't it?

Of course, the most direct solution is removing the shrapnel embedded in your chest.

You know what I'm talking about.

—Wade Wilson

The Second Marvel Jesus

---

Tony stared at the screen silently.

Then he exhaled slowly.

"Jarvis."

"Yes, sir."

"Trace the email."

"Already completed."

Jarvis replied instantly.

"The email was sent fifteen days ago."

"The same day Mr. Wade disappeared."

"The signal source came from his personal phone."

Tony cursed under his breath.

"Damn it."

"At least leave something useful!"

Jarvis added carefully,

"Sir, it is also possible someone else sent the email using Mr. Wade's phone."

Tony waved a hand impatiently.

"I know."

He stood up immediately and headed toward the garage.

"True or false… I'll find out once I check the office."

---

S.H.I.E.L.D.

Natasha Romanoff was sitting quietly at her desk.

Her eyes were focused on her phone screen.

A small frown appeared between her brows.

Another email had arrived.

She opened it.

---

Finally, a free piece of intelligence for your bald director.

Consider it payment for the help you gave me before.

Captain America isn't dead.

Yes, the one named Steve Rogers.

He's sleeping comfortably under the Arctic ice.

Go dig him up.

When you do, verify it personally.

If his rear armor is curvier than yours, that's definitely him.

Trust me.

I'm basically Steve's twin brother from another set of parents.

Technology just wasn't good enough back then, which is why he became a seventy-year-old popsicle.

—From your beloved ex-husband

---

Natasha slowly rubbed her forehead.

"…Idiot."

She sighed quietly.

The Arctic Ocean was enormous.

Finding a single frozen body under miles of ice would be like searching for a grain of sand in the desert.

"Why couldn't he give a more precise location…"

Still—

If there was even a small chance that Steve Rogers was alive…

This information had to be reported to Nick Fury immediately.

Because if Captain America really was alive…

He would be the perfect leader for the Avengers Initiative.

---

Two Months Later

Dark Dimension.

Garbage Heap.

Black Deadpool stood alone.

His expression was serious.

His eyes were tightly closed.

His right hand moved slowly in front of him, drawing circular motions in the air.

Deadpool had already left the Dark Dimension on the eighteenth day.

Black Deadpool had originally planned to leave with him.

But when Deadpool mentioned there was a chance he might never return if he left…

Black Deadpool hesitated.

In the end, he stayed.

After all—

He had already waited more than one hundred years.

Waiting a few extra months didn't matter.

His hand continued moving.

Slow.

Focused.

Then—

A spark appeared.

Just a tiny one.

But it was real.

---

Kamar-Taj

At the exact same moment, the Ancient One suddenly opened her eyes.

She stood up calmly.

Then she clapped her hands gently.

CRACK.

Space in front of her shattered like glass.

Behind it lay the endless darkness of the Dark Dimension.

Without hesitation, she reached her hand through the portal.

A moment later—

Her hand grabbed something.

Got him.

---

Black Deadpool suddenly felt a small hand grab his shoulder.

Before he could react, the world around him twisted violently.

Space rotated.

Light flashed.

When everything stopped spinning—

He was standing in a quiet, ancient hall.

And in front of him…

Was the person he had dreamed about even inside the Dark Dimension.

The Ancient One.

Their eyes met.

Black Deadpool's eyes filled with deep affection.

Then suddenly—

"Ugh…"

He turned pale.

"Wait."

"Give me a second…"

"Ugh—"

The violent twisting sensation from teleportation made him almost throw up.

The Ancient One nodded calmly.

But then her expression changed.

The portal connecting to the Dark Dimension behind her began to tremble violently.

Dark cracks appeared along the edges.

The barrier between dimensions was destabilizing.

Black Deadpool quickly understood the situation.

"Do you need my help?"

The Ancient One shook her head.

"No."

She opened another portal beside him.

"You go."

"Take some time to familiarize yourself with the modern world."

Black Deadpool hesitated.

"Are you sure?"

The Ancient One smiled calmly.

"Kamar-Taj is not what it used to be."

"As long as the Sanctums remain intact, Dormammu cannot invade Earth."

Black Deadpool nodded.

"Alright."

The next moment, the Ancient One disappeared into the unstable portal.

Black Deadpool stretched his body.

During his time in the Dark Dimension, he had listened to Deadpool ramble endlessly about modern society.

Now that he was finally free—

He wanted to see this future world with his own eyes.

Thinking about it excited him.

He stepped through the portal.

---

New York Sanctum

Black Deadpool arrived inside the New York Sanctum.

Then he casually walked out into the streets.

The moment he stepped outside—

He froze.

Towering skyscrapers filled the skyline.

Traffic roared past in endless streams.

Neon lights flashed everywhere.

Everything looked exactly like the scenes he had only seen in comics and movies.

Black Deadpool's eyes sparkled.

"So this…"

"…is the future."

The Ancient One had even prepared some money for him.

Not a fortune.

But more than enough.

Enough to buy a large house.

Enough to party every night.

Black Deadpool smiled excitedly.

Then—

Ding.

Ding.

Ding.

His pocket suddenly vibrated repeatedly.

Black Deadpool pulled out the smartphone Deadpool had given him earlier.

The screen showed more than one hundred missed calls and emails.

All from the same contact.

Deadpool.

Black Deadpool cursed.

"Damn it."

"Why does that guy have so many connections?"

He switched the phone to silent mode immediately.

Then he randomly chose a nearby restaurant and walked in to eat and drink happily.

What he didn't know—

Was that the moment his phone received signal…

Several groups of people immediately started moving.

---

Original Universe

In a parking lot beneath a residential building in New York.

The door of a large SUV opened slightly.

Deadpool cautiously peeked outside.

After carefully checking that Colossus wasn't nearby, he jumped out quickly.

"This cheat ability has one annoying flaw," he muttered.

Whenever he returned to his original universe…

He appeared exactly where he had left.

No adjustments.

No convenience.

Deadpool sighed.

"It would be amazing if I could bind a door."

"Then I could travel directly from my bedroom."

He looked around.

Then recognized the location.

"…Oh."

"This is Eve's apartment building."

Deadpool smirked.

"That magician really fell hard for love."

"Tsk, tsk."

---

Marvel Cinematic Universe

Black Deadpool had just finished eating and walked out of the restaurant.

Then suddenly—

He was surrounded.

In front of him stood several armored figures glowing with blue repulsor light.

A woman aimed a strange bow-like weapon at him.

Behind her stood a group of agents.

Black Deadpool slowly turned his head.

On top of a nearby skyscraper—

He couldn't see clearly.

But his instincts screamed danger.

He raised both hands slowly.

"Sorry."

He looked genuinely confused.

"Did I break some kind of heavenly rule?"

Tony Stark stepped forward.

His Arc Reactor glowed brightly on his chest.

"Who are you?"

"And where is Wade?"

Black Deadpool opened his mouth.

"I am Wade."

Then he froze.

Wait.

That wasn't right.

They were probably asking about that Wade.

Black Deadpool suddenly realized the truth.

Deadpool.

That bastard.

Now he understood why Deadpool had given him the phone.

It was a trap.

"Wait!" Black Deadpool shouted quickly.

"Don't attack yet!"

"Let me explain first!"

Tony nodded slightly.

"Go ahead."

Black Deadpool covered his face.

Explain what?

What could he possibly say?

He hesitated.

Then tried his best.

"…If I told you he went to another universe…"

"…would you believe me?"

Natasha smiled sweetly.

"Of course."

Black Deadpool's face brightened.

Then—

THWIP!

An arrow shot out from the side.

Black Deadpool reacted instantly.

He stepped back calmly and caught the arrow mid-air.

A mocking smile appeared on his face.

"Please."

"Even though I can't beat him…"

"I'm not that weak—"

ZAP!

A burst of blue electricity exploded across his body.

Black Deadpool collapsed onto the ground, twitching violently.

Smoke rose from his mouth.

Coulson stepped forward calmly and signaled the agents.

Several S.H.I.E.L.D. agents quickly restrained him with special equipment.

Natasha crouched beside him.

She tilted her head slightly.

"So…"

"What were you saying?"

She glanced toward Tony.

"I'll take him back to S.H.I.E.L.D. for interrogation."

"You don't mind, do you?"

Tony shrugged.

"No objections."

Different people had different specialties.

Interrogation wasn't his area.

"Just let me know immediately if you find anything."

Natasha nodded.

"Of course."
