Chapter 2 of the game begins, the super-hearing mutant.

Su Jinjin gasped at the sight and forced herself to calm down.

She had to leave the room immediately and find a safe place to hide.

But before that, she needs to find a weapon to protect herself.

Su Jinjin looked around; the small dormitory contained only simple furniture and daily necessities.

"I wonder how many players are in this instance? Or are all the selected players on Earth entering this game to survive?" Su Jinjin muttered to herself.

She looked outside, and the world outside didn't seem like a game instance at all; it was more like a parallel world.

People gasped in surprise at the appearance of the strange meteor.

These sounds echoed in Su Jinjin's ears.

She then shook her head. "Don't think about other players, think more about yourself. How am I supposed to survive with these skinny little arms and legs?"

Su Jinjin was self-aware enough to know that she was useless when it came to fighting.

In this brutal game of natural disasters, no one knows whether other players will stab her in the back for survival.

She also enjoys reading various post-apocalyptic novels.

Trust is a luxury in such an environment.

Su Jinjin began searching through her room.

She pulled open drawers, lifted mattresses, and even checked the top of wardrobes, but apart from a few textbooks and household items, she couldn't find a decent weapon.

She could only find one face mask.

"No?" she muttered under her breath. "This dorm is unbelievably clean. Even a thief would have to leave a dollar behind with tears in his eyes."

Time ticked by, and Su Jinjin knew she couldn't delay any longer.

After scanning the room one last time and confirming that there were indeed no usable weapons, she decisively prepared to leave.

"What exactly is this alien species?" she wondered as she carefully turned the doorknob.

"If they are alien creatures, it's best to stay away from the areas hit by meteors and avoid danger as much as possible. If I'm not mistaken, those meteors are not ordinary meteors, but aliens or alien eggs."

The door opened a crack, and Su Jinjin cautiously observed the situation in the corridor.

Fortunately, the corridor was empty, with only a few emergency lights providing dim illumination.

Su Jinjin was thinking about how to survive in this dungeon that the system described as having an easy difficulty level.

"With the ability to scavenge, as long as I store some supplies and find a safe place, I should be able to complete the seven-day survival mission."

Su Jinjin was well aware of her situation.

She doesn't have the superpowers of a phoenix, so in this perilous dungeon, playing it safe and trying to survive is the wise thing to do.

Su Jinjin quickly went downstairs.

However, when she rushed out of the dormitory building, the scene before her made her stop in her tracks.

There were quite a few people on the street, gathered in small groups, looking up at the sky with excitement and curiosity on their faces.

Some people were taking pictures with their phones, some were talking loudly, and some were even excitedly shouting, "Look! Another shooting star!"

Su Jinjin was stunned.

These people...aren't they players?

She immediately became alert, subconsciously slowing her pace and quickly scanning her surroundings.

Her caution contrasted sharply with the relaxed and cheerful atmosphere around her, making her seem out of place.

Su Ning immediately changed his demeanor. If these people were natives of the instance, and he acted too strangely, it might attract unnecessary attention.

The system reminds players not to reveal their identities to others in the instance.

Su Jinjin suddenly remembered that she still had two abilities in her "working class" talent that she hadn't tested, especially "Eye on Resume".

Isn't now the perfect time to test it?

Her gaze locked onto the young man who had just run past her, and she silently thought, "The eye of the resume!"

Instantly, lines of semi-transparent text appeared in her vision:

Name: Zhang Kai

Gender: Male

[Professional Skills: Cooking (Specializing in Sichuan Cuisine)]

[Weakness: Afraid of his wife!]

[Note: Indigenous inhabitants of the Alien Apocalypse instance]

Su Jinjin's pupils contracted slightly, her heart filled with surprise.

"I see... The purpose of the [Resume Eye] is to view the target's basic information and weaknesses!"

She instantly understood the value of this ability; in the dungeon, distinguishing between players and native inhabitants was crucial.

Moreover, knowing the other party's weaknesses might come in handy at crucial moments.

Su Jinjin was somewhat happy, but she quickly concealed it as she looked at the sudden explosion in the distance.

Chaos begins.

Su Jinjin put on a mask and went straight into a small supermarket. The supermarket staff had gone to watch the meteor shower and were not in the store. Su Jinjin did not hesitate and went directly to the food area, throwing food into her scavenging backpack.

Bread, film, biscuits, instant noodles, sausages, milk candy, mineral water—anything edible was stuffed into the scavenging backpack.

Having space is convenient.

However, fearing that others would notice, Su Jinjin quickly left after her shopping spree.

Su Jinjin also found some fruit knives and kitchen knives in the kitchen utensils, and she didn't forget any of them, as she could use them for self-defense.

As soon as Su Jinjin rushed out of the supermarket, the scene before her eyes made her blood freeze instantly.

Not far away, a huge fireball-like meteor crashed down, causing the ground to tremble violently and the shockwave to overturn vehicles and stalls along the roadside.

Before the smoke and dust had cleared, a twisted black figure slowly crawled out of the crater.

It was a monster with long, thin limbs and bent joints, its entire body was black and covered with a metallic sheen.

Its head has no eyes, only a gaping hole covered with spiraling teeth, while two sharp bone blades extend from the ends of its forelimbs, gleaming coldly in the firelight.

"This... is the mutant?!" Su Jinjin's pupils shrank sharply.

The next second, the monster suddenly shot out, its speed so fast that it almost left a trail of afterimages.

It accurately lunged at the crowd that had just cried out in alarm, the bone blade piercing through a man's chest as easily as cutting through tofu.

Blood splattered, and before the scream could even be heard, the second person had already been cut in half at the waist.

The streets instantly descended into hellish chaos.

People began to scream and scatter in all directions, but the monster was like a precise killing machine, each leap accompanied by flying blood and flesh.

It has no sight, but it can lock onto its prey using some kind of sense.

Su Jinjin's face was deathly pale, and she felt a strong urge to vomit, but reason forced her to calm down.

She stared intently at the monster, silently chanting in her mind, "Eye of the Resume!"

In an instant, a set of data appeared before her eyes.

[Name: Prilos]

Gender: Male

[Special Skills: Super Hearing, Sharp Claws]

[Weakness: Lacking sight, relying solely on hearing for movement, and extremely sensitive to high-frequency sound waves.]

"I see, these alien monsters find their targets by sound." Su Jinjin looked at the aliens fighting among the crowd.

Su Jinjin also understood that as long as she didn't make a loud noise, she might be able to avoid the crisis.

She carefully moved away from the area and picked up a cell phone that was recording video from the ground.

She exited the recording and started checking the map app on her phone to find the hospital's location
