On the rear deck of the President, two large cargo containers snapped open.
Dense swarms of black drones, like hornets emerging from a nest, instantly took to the air.

The glass shattered.

This time, the shriek was more agonizing than any before.
It was a pain that seared into the very marrow.
The S-grade concentrated venom was intensely corrosive.
Instantly, white smoke began to rise from the demon whale's enormous left eye.
As if scalding oil had been splashed onto raw meat.

Muffled explosions echoed from below.
The sea instantly turned dark red.
The demon whale's abdomen was blasted into a bloody mess, large chunks of flesh floating to the surface.
"Not dead yet."
Qin Yu stared at the churning blood-filled waters.
"A monster of this caliber has terrifyingly tenacious vitality."
Sure enough.
Excruciating pain jolted the demon whale back from its mental shock.
Though severely wounded.

They had won.
They had actually taken down an SS-class monster.
Qin Yu released his grip on the firing lever, his palms slick with sweat. Yet his expression remained calm and composed. "Secure the area. This thing is a treasure trove."

Meanwhile, behind a reef five kilometers from the battlefield, a rotund figure lay submerged in the water, clutching a high-powered telescope. It was none other than the third-ranked player, "Fatty Qi" Qi Chun.

He glanced back at his prized flight thruster, then toward the distant, fortress-like President. Suddenly, his own gear seemed pathetically meager in comparison to Qin Yu's. "An SS-class monster… gone just like that?"
Wiping seawater from his face, his eyes filled with a mix of awe and terror. "No doubt about it—I've got to cling to those coattails. He's not just the top-ranked player; he's the Grim Reaper of these seas!"
Carefully, he stowed his camera, wary of making any noise that might draw the attention of that formidable figure. "From now on, if anyone dares cross Qin Yu, I, Qi Chun, will be the first to engrave their tombstone."
"That was fucking terrifying..."
Qi Chun hunched his shoulders.
He quietly activated the thruster's silent mode.
Skimming over the sea surface.
Like a frightened bighead fish.
He swiftly made his escape.

He turned his head and glanced in the direction where Qi Chun had been hiding.
A meaningful smile curled at the corner of his lips.

Li Ruobing jumped down from the helicopter, tossed her helmet aside, shook her waterfall-like long hair, and strode over.
Her hot vest was already soaked with sweat, clinging tightly to her body and outlining breathtaking curves.
"Nothing."
Qin Yu withdrew his gaze.
"Just a little mouse peeking."
"Let him watch."
"He can help spread the word for us."
