December 5th began the way most days began for Wip.
She stretched across the full length of Allaran's bed, rolled onto her back, and stared at the ceiling with the easy contentment of a creature that had no obligations. Then she noticed the two meat servings on the floor beside the bed, and that immediately became the only relevant detail in the room.
She ate both.
Her tail moved the entire time.
After that she curled back into the warm spot on the mattress and waited. Allaran would come back eventually. He always came back. When he did, there would probably be rocks involved, and she had strong feelings about rocks.
She waited through the morning.
