Marcus Reed had never seen Lina this sharp before.
He frowned and leaned back in his chair.
"Why are you still worried about this? You've been in this industry long enough to know how it works."
Lina looked at him without saying anything.
Marcus continued.
"Every actor has an image these days. You need something that makes people remember you. A persona gives the public something to talk about."
He tapped the contract with one finger.
"Look at your situation. You came back to Westhaven after years abroad. Nobody here knew what to make of you yet. But everyone knew you're Lucien Cole's wife."
Lina's expression cooled.
"That isn't a persona."
"No?"
Marcus smiled.
"It can be."
Lina stared at him.
Marcus leaned forward.
"You're the woman who married into the Cole family, got discarded by her husband, disappeared overseas years ago and came back bagging the nation's husband. That's a story people will eat up."
"So you want to sell my marriage and divorce."
