Chapter 1 - The Girl Who Chose Herself

She was a very beautiful girl, twenty years old, living in her parents' house. She dreamed of traveling far away from her country. She was still dreaming.

She was deeply attached to her father. He loved her, and she loved him. But one day, she heard her father say to her, "God willing, one day you will die. I hope you die so God can relieve me of you."

At that moment, the girl was shocked. She never expected her father to speak in such a cruel, painful way. His words hurt her deeply. She was wounded by him, so she went to her room and cried the entire day. She stayed awake all night, crying.

The girl had a diary where she wrote everything that happened to her. She used to write about her love for her father. But after hearing him speak with such harshness, for the first time she wrote that she hated him, that she did not love him anymore, and that she was deeply hurt. She spent a whole week crying and a whole month in pain. A month passed, and her father never apologized. He did not talk to her, as if nothing had happened.

The girl stayed silent. Days passed, and life went on. Her mother always stood against her and favored her sons. She did not love her daughter, did not respect her, insulted her, and even prayed against her. The girl did not love her mother, but she loved her father because he was kind on the inside, and she was emotionally attached to him. Despite all the pain he caused her, she still loved him.

Her mother was never good to her daughters, so the girl distanced herself from her. She stayed very far away, almost completely ignoring her. But the father she loved was the one who hurt her the most when she heard those words from him. She suffered deeply.

In the end, the girl realized that no one would remain for her except herself. She understood that her future was her studies, traveling abroad, achieving her goals, continuing her education, and depending on herself. Pray for her to achieve her dreams, and one day she will come back here to write her story—how she migrated from her country and built her own life.❤️‍🩹
